Very pleased with CCP's decision to hold off on some industry features change. thanks to the community for providing enough feedback to raise their eyebrow and perhaps pull their heads out of spreadsheet hell. Keep up the good work now I can move forward in my plans and continue onward to becoming an industry pro.
so what exactly is making it to kronos? and what exactly is being pushed back into Crius.. That is the question.. I enjoy reading your dev blogs ccp. but you guys purposely leave out the details in order to create forum buzz on it.. so there you have it and here we go.
what made it to Kronos? what industry features were pushed back to Crius?
should I shut down all my bpo research jobs to avoid risk of you borking my major major major isk investment?
did you push back in order to save the T2 BPO's? if so thank you I want to use them as a sacrificial lamb to goons :) (that was a joke ok) |

interface, teams, reprocessing, pos changes, all that good stuff.
new ships, graphical improvements, the new sound UI, rebalancing, drone skill and stat changes, are unaffected. Probably a bunch of other features im leaving out. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

thank you batelle,
so should I halt all my last minute researching to prepare for the change? they never explained what exactly they're doing about the many many many current pending jobs sitting in que for weeks on end. will they inform everyone to shut down all pending jobs or not? |

Last rumour I heard is that all in-progress jobs will complete.
I have zero confirmation of this at this time. |

well tau,
that's "in-progess" meaning its working..
what about PENDING.. meaning the job has not started.. fee was already paid to the station but it has to wait for the slot to open up in order to even begin..
some folks have placed their bpo's in que for up to (from what ive seen) 50+ days out.. what happens to those pending jobs.
this really should be addressed by a dev or someone who can relieve and re-assure there will not be any problems.
oh ccp greyscale and rubberband or who ever reads this.. I beg you to provide an answer. |

Its disappointing but probably necessary especially to test the long term issues such as the teams system. Though I still think its going to be unanticipated problems even after the test when the changes go life. Unless you simulate the entire eve economy |

I would assume pending would be treated the same, because everything is done at the time of submission. |

Nice blogsite Danny Centauri.
To the best of my knowledge CCP still haven't decided how POSes will function within the new industry changes so they couldn't really launch it yet could they?
I notice on Danny's blogsite that the signature radius for POS defences outside the shield as well as small & medium sized towers is being increased by quite a percentage. Seems like CCP are actively trying to make POS use less popular on top of possibly making them a more expensive option. |

Just go to page one and read the blue posts, and click on the DEV badge for the next one.
Example: You missed freighter rebalancing. |

I'm not sure what you are worried about. Costs is calcuated at the beginning of you installing the job and all isk taken at the time you accepted the quote. The only changes that would affect your job would be when your actual job starts. If the expansion happens before your job starts, then the day after the indy changes is made, your job begins immediately. If indy expansion hasn't occured, it begins as per the normal current system.
if you are manufacturing (your material cost is using the current system and not the value in the expansion).
Hope that makes sense. |

Wow are they seriously going BACKWARDS in terms of research corps ?
I mean it would be ok if they made research labs available to ANYONE, but that's impossible with the BPO's being required to be in the lab itself. Odd considering we've been asking them to make labs available to non-corp members for YEARS.
Does anyone have a good reason why this happened this way ?
