Finally! thanks to everyone who helped me set this site up and gave me feedback on it, ive finally got it up and running. thanks especially to Hunters Presence for hosting the forum and Levin Cavil for his efforts.
Basically, my ommunity site is aimed at hosting events in eve and other games alike, for whatever games you like! Also to discuss your gaming experiences in general with outher eve-players. There will be ISK or other eve-related prizes given out to the winners of events, including ships/modules/blueprints or anything else i can think of. Please, go there, register on the forums and tell me what youd like your first event to be!
please support us by joining us in the 'eve-gamers' channel ingame, or #eve-gamers on irc.coldfront.net

The site's a bit slow - rather image heavy. But it looks good and promising - will be good to see it once it's got some content up.

Image heavy? Er, it looks rather sleek and minimalist actually. There's very few images there.
But... I'm not sure if this website will take off to be honest. People are more likely to use the forums here to arrange in-game stuff. I could (and hope I am) be wrong though.

yeah, but noone ever seems to do it, let alone do it full-blown event style. so i figure "why the hell not?"
im trying to get an event off the ground in about a weeks time ideally, im just trying to determine what kind of event it will be to start things off, something comical possibly.
novarei is back? OH DEAR GOD I SMELL A FAKE GEORDIE. my first CS:S event will be a "who's the most fruity CS:S player." and you've already won.

Looking forward to some kind of event then. You have to have something to make people visit the site... the forum there will not be as good as these forums. --- The Eve Wiki Project |

yeah, i fear it wont actually take off until i announce an event that everyone wants to be a part of. problem is, i dont wanna host an event until people tell me whatkind of event they WANT to be a part of.

Congrats and good luck with the site. One thing I want to point out, the IRC chat. Most in the UK use Quakenet, why have you chosen coldfront?

a) because coldfront works properly b) thats where the official EVE-Online IRC channel is located (#eve-chaos) c) it doesnt take me like 5-6 hours just to register myself a channel.

i dunno about BF2 events, id love to see it happen as i myself am a BF2 player, but the scale of the game is too large to get enough players for, let alone sort out adequate servers.
