Hey all,
In the newest build on Sisi, we should have a bunch of little ui things for you to test and give us feedback on.
- Reload timers
- Repair timers (very very slow, but they are moving )
- Right click menu to clear all broadcast icons in Watchlist
- Chat Invites are logged
- Collapse functionality of windows removed except for the header
- Possible to drag (some) chat channels from Channel window to create a link people can click to join the channel
- Linking something that starts on "http://" now works ("http://' is not added again)
- "Plug in" option in right click menu for implants has been moved below "Show Info" and away from "Jettison"
- Targeting indicator in Survey scanner shows which asteroids are targeted at the time the scan finishes
- There are now 2 different icons for Warp Scramble and Warp Disrupt in the effects bar above the HUD and in the Overview (please test this, for all sorts of warp scrambling effects and NPCs)
- New Fleet Adverts are preloaded with the settings from the last Fleet Advert you published (only stored locally)
- Proper right click menu added to the Jump Clone location in the Charactersheet, allow you to set destination from there
We are still working on a few things, and you might see them on Sisi soon. When the time is right, I'll update this thread so keep posted

You can edit the text of a hyperlink in chat so that you can link to a URL but make it appear as though you're linking to an entirely different URL. There's no way of knowing what the proper URL is unless you either click on the link and go to the hidden URL (which can lead to something you really don't want to see), or right click, copy link, and paste it somewhere. You should add mouseover text that says what kind of link something is and if it's a URL, the actual URL instead of the hyperlink text.

would it be possible to display the amount of needed nanite paste to repair a module in the mouseovermenu behind the damage of that module/group? |

So the first one, Amazing - would be interesting if it was possible to cancel a reload, especially if you accidentally hit ranged ammo rather than close ranged. Second can you explain that a bit more - i'm assuming this is relation to Nanite paste and OH'd Modules? Third one - would it be possible to have the asteriods 'scanned' show up in space with an effect to them, rather than having to rely upon using the overlay. Would also be awesome if the results from the cargo scan could be incorporated with the new tool tips, i.e. hover over an asteriod and it comes up with Veldspar - 15km - x Units remaining. This would update every survey scan

I played around with the nanite paste repair timer and a couple of times after canceling repair on the next activation I could heat my MWD for much longer than usual before it got damaged. One time I did over 15 overheated MWD cycles in a row without taking any heat damage which doesn't seem right if nothing else has changed. This was done on partially repaired MWD and the damaged part flashed red every time the MWD cycled. Eventually the MWD or some other module would take damage but this is so much different from current Tranq where three cycles of MWD might break it that something seems wrong or is heat really this random?
Is there a point why repair module is at the bottom in the right click menu list and cancel repair is second highest? Both should be at the same place (at the bottom).
Also a couple of feature requests because these have been bugging me for a long time now.
Any chance we could get an ingame stopwatch that is affected by time dilation or reactivation timer for modules like the bomb launcher? Currently the only way to know if you can launch another bomb in changing TiDi is to try to fire it because it's extremely hard to estimate how much real time has passed when TiDi keeps changing for whatever reason.
Ingame time dilation affected stopwatch would also help with small things like knowing accurately when your interdictor bubble is about to expire. It's pretty ridiculous that currently the best way to know these timers in changing TiDi is to launch scan probes beforehand and calculate how much time has really passed from the scan probes' expiration timer... |

Just tested on Tranq in a stiletto, sensor booster in next slot, therm 4 alt: after 3 for damage, 8 for burn out after 3 for damage, 6 to burn out. after 1 for damage, 3 to burn out. (forgot to reset heat by switching ships) after 3 for damage, 6 to burn out.
This does not seem to match sisi at all.
