This is all to do with Shader settings on AMD/ATI cards on Mac clients being constrained to Medium at best. If you have an nVidia card then the settings can be set to High. At the moment there are no plans to remove the constraint for performance reasons on these AMD/ATI based Macs. :(

this fix doesn't seem to allow me to reconnect to TQ after using sisi By fix, what are you referring to, specifically? For me it was just running the Sisi launcher. After Sisi updated and I ran it, my TQ client no longer will work. The launcher starts up but after entering my password and hitting play it just shuts down now. Also ran the repair tool and it didn't help.
Could you let me know what launcher version you are running? It's shown in the top left of the launcher window. Graphical QA Analyst | EVE Quality Assurance | Team TriLambda |

What seemed to work for me to get everything back to running WITHOUT touching config files is:
1. Open Terminal 2. Type GÇ£cd Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online/" 3. Type "ln -s /tmp @TMP@"
4. start your eve client
This seems to have helped some others, too. I can now connect to both SiSi and TQ again with the respective clients. |

Sure, not sure if you saw all the other threads popping up but it appears any mac user who has used the new Sisi update has lost their TQ client.

I'll try this when I get home tomorrow. |

I did this and it worked.
SISI is performing way better than previously.
-but seriously, can't you make something a little more native than this? Windows version is in a different league on the same hardware. |
