From what I can tell 95% of the CODE kill rely on a combination of
1) abusive bumping to prevent ships from warping off, which really should carry a CONCORD response
and
2) the lack of real consequences for -10 sec status gankers which lets them be career criminals without any real punishment other than a 15 minute timeout.
Fix those up and CODE will slowly disappear (more so than it already is). |

Oh wait, it must be because I'm busy DDOS-ing someone with a forum link.

1. Bumping is not abusive, harassment, or in any way violating the EULA unless it is persistent against a single target for a prolonged period of time. Like, days or weeks. Bumping a target that happens to jump into a system that you're suicide ganking freighters in does not qualify.
2. So denying them quite possibly every other hisec activity that involves undocking isn't "real punishment"? What more would you have CCP do to them?
Also, you're underestimating the amount of coordination and logistics that must be done properly in order to pull these ganks off. You try getting 30-ish pilots to fly in an organized manner, fit their ship properly, and keep them supplied and shipped when they can't undock without risking getting shot at for hours at a time. You can bash what they do all you want, but nobody really has any ground to bash the skill with which they do it.

Addressing #1: No it's not, see the massive thread about it that spun out of control. But no it's not. Bumping happens, intentional or not. It's part of EVE. There are always ways to avoid bumping if the player is smart, oh at keyboard.
Addressing #2: So the fact that at -10 one can not spend any legitimate amount of time in High Sec without being aggressed by a police force is not enough? I mean you even stated that there is a 15min timer for a cool down that is already in place.
If you really understood the sheer logistic fortitude, planning, and communications that is needed for a gank, you would be impressed. It's far more complicated than you make it out to be, and is exponentially more so on larger targets. You disagree with basic game mechanisms that have been in place for years, and want to change them completely. I can do that as well! I suggest that all stations in HS are removed (aside from trade hubs like Jita because you know... Jita.) And move all agents and what not out of HS. Because you see then there would be all these wonderful things and stuff would happen. Frolics within space meadows! See how that sounds, because that is basically what you are suggesting. As evident from my killboards, my kill:loss ratio in lowsec is substantially higher than in highsec.
Lowsec easysec, we always say.
I understand your bitterness, seeing as you're one of the people who notoriously wants highsec to become some kind of safe playground where people can play AFK and make money akin to Farmville.

Well, CODE hasn't tagged me yet...just a whole lotta hot air so far. And I support suicide ganking, I just think that the costs should correspond to the benefits. Right now its too easy and cheap to kill expensive ships, as CODE so ably demonstrates. |

How bout you give it a shot, and when you've accomplished a suicide kill of a massive blingy target, maybe a jump freighter or a well fit incursion runner, then you can say it's too easy. We appreciate the hard work and sacrifices made by those who follow and uphold the CODE. Without their faith and perseverance, the realm of EVE high-sec would lapse into an endless treadmill of meaningless existence.
