Just as a point of clarification, 14 active wars is not even close to the record. In March 2004, Everlasting Vendetta reached a peak of 20 active wars and maintained an average of 18 active wars for close to six months. Sorry, Plim you're not even close to most hated. If I had to guess, I'd bet Cyvok and Celestial Horizons had more at one point but I could be wrong.

Tbh I might not even be right about the 14 figure, it was in that area. I did say "might", I didn't say we definately did have the most wars.
Anyway, im back from my holiday on Saturday, so I can shoot people again yey ^_^ -----------------

American football? Isnt that the game where you wear 6 inch foam padding and metal helmets in a game that revolves around LOSING your marker and throwing/catching a ball?
It looks feirce, but they are more heavilly armoured than a Talliban underground bunker. The whole game is designed for TV.
Ask Brian McBride if football is for pansies, how many stitches did he get?
You should watch the Scottish Premier League, and then comment on football. How many foreigners have requested a transfer after the Edinburgh derby?

Originally by: darth solo i keep bringing the lads down to fight a certain alliance that say they hold this region, but im yet to see them in anything other than the occasional gank fleet that hangs around for a few hours... this is the second time we have came, only to be disapointed.
for months iv been told, "come back to fountain celes it wont be like the first time when we were away" well its exactly the same. i have no interest in fighting the second rate alliance that is Xelas.
Now im under no doubt that the full attention of this alliance would be far too much to handle for our corp, but to have no1 there and still have the ability to claim it on the eve map is ridiculous to say the least. The alliance in question should have a presence or be removed from map as a claiming force of Fountain.
My thoughts and a challenge.

yes cause right lets think how bob work
If u atatcked any pos or made any kind of threat rather than omg gank fleet then theyd take notice

Who are you? Who is this "Miners With Attitude" alliance? What gives you the right to have a go at Celes? What makes you think you know the first thing about BoB?
I wouldn't give Celes the steam off my you know what if they were on fire but watching mouthy inexperienced noob pod pilots without a single notable achievement to their name having a go at a corp that we reserve the right to argue with and abuse on Galnet gets my goat.
Miners With Attitude are an incredibly irritating bunch on Galnet. Where do you live so we can come over and see if your bite is as bad as your bark?

Read the sticky about this forum mate. We're supposed to stay on topic and not spam the thread with nonsense, which is a shame as i rather like posting complete nonsense. Tends to be a lot nicer than flames.

Man, after watching some World Cup matches, the only thing thatĘs worst then the diving, crying and faking/acting weak soccer players are the blind and incompetent soccer referees. I would like to buy some of that magic spray that cures all injuries. I could use some of that when I get out of the mosh pit with a bloody nose.

Coming from an ex-Xelas member, hats off to them for still being there. Even if BoB is coming in to help them now and then, living there was far from easy street. I don't remember much periods of rest as combat was nearly constant.

Officially, we Xelas second rate losers rather like our relationship with BoB, but unofficially, we Xelas second rate losers still like our relationship with BoB. Strange, I know, but there you have it. Are we as powerful as BoB? Nope. Does it matter in Fountain core? Not at all. Xelas holds those systems, NPC station intensive as they may be, and a good number around Fountain. If we were so easily knocked down, we'd be relegated to the NPC stations, so kindly avoid speaking that form of nonsense.
Celes was good to fight when they were around before, and they're good to fight now, and I don't blame them for docking when they're outmanned 3 to 1. I wouldn't blame them if they did it when it was an even fight either. However, we're not going to reduce the fleet sizes so you'll have more fun on your little visit. The message you seem to be missing is that you're not at home in Fountain, and if you come through for a visit, you'll spend your time staring at the redock button or a clone vat, your pick.
As for FA/VC/NORAD/D2/IMP/<insert alliance here>, we hold our own most days, and when not, we talk to our allies in Delve. If anyone has a problem with a lone alliance calling for some help when they're outnumbered 4 alliances to 1 and all of those alliances are larger, flame somewhere else.
The simple truth is this: Xelas and BoB are in Fountain. We're the only people who have stayed in Fountain and not run back somewhere else to regroup while alliance set number two takes up the Fountain fight against us. If you think us weak, come kill us. If you think we're lackies, tell someone who cares. And if you think there's any force in this 'verse that's going to keep us from making all of Fountain clear of our enemies, wait and watch, and perhaps you'll see something you didn't expect.
Nice one...

Jade was not able to sleep the night of making his forum post... drowsy and not of sound mind...and deeply regrets wasting his time making any comments toward any wannabe big shot corp infringing on his old allies (Xelas)... and making a fuss with above corps empty threats and unfounded arrogance.
All I can say is.. maybe you should change the theme of this post.. perhaps I was confused of its intent.
If Xelas/BoB are not around to fight.. well looks like you own fountain.... and.. you should make this a post of declaration of your said sovreignty.
Eh?
This makes no sense?
