There are two features that I think would enhance gameplay for most, one being more important than the other.
The first would be an in-game alarm. This way a pilot could have an easier time meeting a rendezvous. It would also help players keep better tabs on real-life appointments.
The second feature would be the ability to display local time somewhere in-game, mostly for the same reasons as above. Playing with people all over the would makes talking about meeting times a bit difficult especially when different time systems are used.
Personally I think that the alarm is more important than the local time, but both are features that can help anyone.
Just some ideas. --Mai |

I can sorta agree with the second clock, though since I play using a maximized window and still have access to my taskbar it would do me no good.
As far as the alarm goes, there are hundreds of websites that you can open in a browser window that will do the same thing. An OOG browser doesn't close just cause you launch EVE. If I like your idea, I may or may not tell you. If I do not like your idea, you will definitly know this. |

Different timezones is the reason why organizations in Eve have standardized on Evetime. All operations are posted in Evetime, so there is never any ambiguity. Adding a clock for localtime doesn't make sense in this context.
Adding alarms makes sense though, especially if it is done as an addon to the calendar functionality already in the game. Same goes for simple yet common calendar functions, like recurring events and reminders.

Eve time is universal time... Local time is not of importance when synching with the universe. Some wonder if there should even be time zones at all. |
