Just curious. I'm not really a PvP player, nor a miner. But I'm tired of their 30 cans per belt trash.
How can I make thema agro me? I'm talking of high sec macroers (0.6).
I just need some pointers, what to expect, how to escape if needed, etc.
- What I hate?
-Men in female characters. -More to come.

Hi Rikaka,
If you know they are macro mining all you do is take the can they are mining in and replace it with yours. Once they put something in your can you can agro on them. Good luck. YARR Those who do not kill us are stupid and must die!!

Edited by: Mihae on 08/06/2006 17:34:04 Macros can be killed by stealing form their cans to, if they attack you you can shoot back without CONCORD interception.
Why do u hate men in female characters?

I would love to take macros out but how can you ID a macro miner? Some peeps won't chat in local or even respond to private chats.

You begin to notice behavior and also that they mine for hours upon hours, only to do it again the next day .... without seeming to do anything else. The lackluster naming schemes help give them away too. fbgitsings 4tl.
The hauler usually doesn't use instas, but warps to members, goes to can, warps to 15 km of the station, and docks. Stays put until can gets filled sufficiently, undocks, and repeats.
I've decided cloaking is a valuable asset to studying them before the strike, also might work for hiding after switching cans, but I haven't tried it yet

Try the chat channel "macrointel". It lists the can flagging procedure at the beginning and is a great channel for those of us that hate the mm's. Also, feel free to evemail me names and locations as I am planning to begin an anti-mm campaign soon.

How do you go about switching the can or getting stuff out of it? I don't understand how switching the can works...do they just store their ore in the closest can?

You can't put something in somebody else's can. However, what you can do, is drop one piece of ammo or something next to their can, name it the same thing, open both cans at the same time, then drag and drop ALL their ore from their can to yours. Remove your piece of ammo and wait for the hauler to arrive. Preferably know where they are, learn what station they're in, and watch the station.

Problem with doing that, is, that it is a different color on the HUD

Unlike the standard macro foreman, macros themselves are colourblind. ___________________________________
