It seems like it is an error and should be 5%.
EDIT: If it's not an error, it's time to start training minmatar frigate.

So I guess either the Wolfs Description is wrong or the damage bonus applied to the Jaguar is wrong. And btw, the damage output of both ships is insane especially with T2 ammo.

wolf ownz now: Your 280mm Howitzer Artillery II perfectly strikes (Giant Secure Container), wrecking for 981.2 damage.
this is wrecking with 21.8 dmg mod and quake s and i have assault skill on lvl 4. With 5 lvl dmg mod could be 24x

Thats probably possible but I guess its a bit of coding that is needed. The way I see it the text would have to be linked like [shipBonus1]% bonus to kinetic missile and we could still make mistakes when we're changing bonuses. But anyway a pretty good idea. _______________ |

Or you can just make it [shipBonuses] and make it auto-generate the entire text :) (I guess the bonuses/bonus types would have to have another parameter like "displayable" then, because there are prolly those that you don't want included in text).

I guess it depends how much time the person writing the code has :)
Looking at what I have seen there seems to be a different variable with different meaning. I.e. kinmissilebonus = 5 means that ships get a 5% bonus to kinetic missiles.
Rather than writing it into the description the code that generates that text could put out the written description and then parse the stats on the ships. It would know that if it sees kinmissilebonus=5 then it should put 'Assault Frigate skill Bonus: 5% increase to kinetic missile damage per level' - or whatever.
It would need a little time to write the parse code and to define human-readable descriptions for all of the stats. Once the initial description is written though all ships would have the bonusses automatically displayed and updated.
You could also extend it to modules, so for example webbers would show at the end of their text description what their ranges and speed reduction are. Only important stats would be shown there of course (i.e. range, speed reduction - maybe grid and cpu).

There are so many errors in the bonus section of the item info, a total overhaul can't be worse.
We don't know of a plain 10 is +10, -10, +10% or -10%. An added % carries no extra info at all because it is applied at will and no logic behind it. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

Tbh the Wolf is uber now. As Minmatar frig pilot I love that but its quite unfair to the other races. Even the mighty Retribution which is known as the king of frigs couldnt beat my Wolf, the Retri pilot was even skilled and had with whatever fitting not a single chance in a simple dogfight without EW.

Just because a ship can't beat annother one doesn't mean it's worse. The retribution was hitting you in your most protected spots, so it's expected.
