My question as topic.
I am an idiot on economic systems... but does it make sense to introduce these currencies with a universal war? Does having factional currencies create a boundary between faction economies, and can this be advantageous for a war situation?
If games devs are not going to do this, will the players create an artificial system for it? (like selling stocks and items at outside websites?)

That would effect everything in the in-game economic elements - bounties, missions, escrows, markets, trades, corp wallets, production fees, share dividends ... you name it. That's probably a whole named patch right there when you factor in all the patching needed to restabilize regional economies and the global economy.
It's probably a named patch in and of itself. But a neat concept to think about. ---

I favor the idea of micro-currencies. They could easilly have fewer taxes than common.
It would be interesting to see alliances issuing and managing their own legal tender. All corps should be able to issue tokens of credit.
They needn't be usable on the open market, but escrow needs a revamp anyhow.

Its called "contracts" and is scheduled for Kali :)
I would like to see the empires total isk balance taken into account in factional warfare... and have that somehow affect their offensive and defensive capabilities... thatd be awesome :)
