If it happened at POS, you and your fleet (nor anyone else) wouldn't make any difference. POS is *not* affected by lag, and is killing things left and right, while noone else is able to lock anything.
Not that I care, but it's silly to take credits for anything, if heavy lag occured at POS which was being under siege.

You cannot possibly expect people to believe that you were trying to avoid lag, you were actively attempting to increase it so that it would work to your advantage.
The fact of the matter is that we warped to you, it was at least 3 minutes before our ships even loaded(no exaggeration), by the time we loaded and were able to warp out half of our fleet had been destroyed.
HAHAHA, without lag. You wouldve lost all your ships. Seeing as than you wouldve had an interdictor bubble on all of your fleet. PLUS, IF YOU DONT WANT LAG. DONT BRING ******* 260 PILOTS INTO THE SYSTEM NUB.
Oh and please show me the killmails with 1000's of bookmarks, and the t1 frigates were there already you misinformed nub.

Edited by: Gloria Lithnars on 17/06/2006 23:28:38 Yup its true. And 3 minutes was a good load time. A lot of folk took approx 6 minutes to load screen (difficult to get an exact figure of course). I guess if it's confirmed as not an exploit we can all start filling our cargo holds with BM's......

So...let me get this straight. You're not denying that you were attempting to increase lag? A petitionable and hopefully bannable offense.
But now you're upset that this tactic backfired because we would have all died if you yourself hadn't been lagged due to your own tactics?
Its true that perhaps if you yourself hadn't been lagged you could have placed an interdictor sphere on us to stop us warping away from the POS, but that doesn't negate the fact that you intended the lag and that half our fleet died to the POS whilst we (and possibly you) were lagged.
I honestly find that pathetic.

We have cargo scanned some of your ships. I await the GM's decision, like I said if it is not an exploit there will be a lot more ships with BM's in the future.

Eh, we did not by any means try to increase lag. ASCN/AXE were the only ones increasing lag, by bringing in 260ships. Not our fault, now go and mine.

Wrong. We warped on your cap ships. When we appeared in grid with POS - 75% of our battleships - was unable to lock primary. Ofc Focus of 10 battleships was unable to kill heavily tanked Chimaera. Especially when you have 3 fps.
P.S. Yesterday, when you claimed victory, i started to shoot straight after 6 minutes jumping into your fleet. Do you see me, or SE leaders complaining about 20+ battleships lost to lag ? ----------------------------------------------- Logged in a system, next to you =) |

Nope. I am leaving this thread now however, descending into a forum fight too much for my liking. As stated the GM's will decide if we are allowed to create our own lag in the future for you.

Edited by: M1NeR on 17/06/2006 23:45:09 LOL guys, where did you get all this crap bout t1 frigates and BMs? Show us a single screeny. But I guess you won't cause there were none of those.
The only real reason for lag was that there were far too many ppl on the battlefield. So you should blame yourselves for that - blobs ftl, your petty excuses look really silly. ------- "Crush these defectives who believe themselves equal to the task of attacking us." - Star Colonel Nicolai Malthus

Edited by: VonKaplanek III on 17/06/2006 23:58:59 I enjoyed tanking 25-30 fighters and a fleet, thank god i wasnt in that dictor bubble... Takes a steam roller a while to get going... We will be back shortly, get the coffee and noDoze. I personally didnt see any frigates dropping bookmarks, but if that was the case, truly lame. The lag was a 8 out of 10 on my lag-0-meter, maybe devs should see this type of engagment happening and adjust nodes accordingly. ohh respect comes from guns in eve not in the form of smacktards spewing e-peen chants in local. Tell the kids to train respect to lvl 2 please...

Hey here's a tip for future fights, if you don't want to be lagged to **** then don't bring 250+ pilots into a fleet fight. Last I checked this game isn't about who can cram the most people into a single system before crashing a node.
Seriously, this 300+ man fleet battle stuff has been tried dozens of times, it never goes smoothly. Either use your head and limit your numbers or don't whine about lag after the fact, it's not that hard.

U`ll ask GMs to give the system into your hands without fight and so proove ur uber-fleet abilities?

As I said in the other thread, the frigates were replacement for SE's lost frigates, and they've been there for about, 2days+, your covert ops pilots should start looking for another job.

IMHO if you bring 260 pilots into a system for a fight..you are exploiting because its guaranteed to bring lag. Now if your defending space I know its hard to tell people not to come but..your basically eliminating any chance of not being lag. There should be a box on petition form.. How many in your gang? If its 200+ you get an automatic reply from CCP.
Dear Paying Customer. BUBUBHHAHAHAHA ...200 in gang..BUHAHAHAHA....want ship back...BUHAHAHAHA.... lag you say?...UBUBUBHAHAHA.... um NO!!!!. Thank you and have a nice day.
P.S. I do believe you have a right to defend yourselves with as much numbers as possible but that is the result. Yes I think its bull... Yes it shouldn't lag. Signature removed - File size too large.Laurelin |

ofc so it is normal for a system with 300 people on to have 50 times more lag then one with 800 :)

Cause EC-P8R was reinforced server side with more resources, probably because someone told GM's/CCP that some major **** was going to go down there. CCP can reinforce certain systems, and do reinforce certain systems that see regular fleet engagements. But in any 'normal' system 300+ people fighting is going to generate a LOT of lag, every time. Especially if you do it during prime hours on weekends
