The matchup: npc bs setup vs. 1-2 HAC/mixed frigate gank squad
The situation: Your buddy is carebearing, gets caught by an inty, and no one else is in system; your gunnery skills suck. They have a boatload of ECM so he's jammed, webbed, scrambled and panicky. You only use BS for npcing while you train large [racial] 5 so you can use tech ii.
prognosis: not a good situation
solution: The rescue jamming stabinix!
Ingredients: 1 dominix Highs: Doesn't matter use your imagination Mid: Sensor Booster II, 4 initiated multispecs Low: 7 WCS
Virtually untouchable 8) There's no better way to upset stab totin' gankers than to use their own tactics against them. If you don't jam in time, no biggie, the carebear was dead anyway. If you get popped instead, the setup is so cheap, insurance covers it all. variation: Combine this with some noob corpmates who can scramble/web and you can turn the tables and kill them. Make sure they have at least 6 points between them, and 2 webbers (those vagas are fast!) since the slimy HAC pilot will have at least 5 WCS (ya'll know the type)

I probably would have gone for a vanilla nosfernix, but I must admit, your setup was inventive
Can't see it really working though: what exactly happened when you tried this? Unless you can jam all of the guys with scrams, you aren't going to get your mate out. If you could jam the guys with the ECMs you could do some damage to them while they are ECMed, but once again, I really don't see you managing to save a BS from 2 HACs with t2 frig support

Just use some large Nos in high (rest small guns), full ECM in midslots and as many plates you can in lows.
It works wonders on anything _____________________________

got lucky and jammed one hac on first try, 2 ecms on the second, and a third on the inty. the af was webbing. he got out.

Only have had 3-4 max myself, and that when traveling Escaped a gate camp in Egghelende with my Mega, and of course the pirates were instantly calling me a stab*****
Anyway, 6 NOS + 5 ECM + 7 stab Domi would be... evil

Lol, so wrong... as if nos and ecm wasn't bad enough.
I'm gonna have to give it a try.
It might've saved me last night when I warped to help a friend who was getting gate-ganked by a 17-man carebear blob.
