Hi,
Can anyone give me a link to a recent version of quickfit (i think thats what it was called) or some other ship fitting tool.
I am looking for one that includes all teh recent changes eg blaster cpu correct etc.
Any help is appreciated. ------------------------------------------------ The purpose of life: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentation of their women. |

Think about this post. What is the topic? Lets see, fitting...
Could that be Ships and Modules?
Maybe it is! Well, I guess if there was a forum called Ships and Modules, this information would be there, right? They might even do something like sticky it to make it easy to find. Such helpful mods we have

Stamm,
I'm not offended in anyway mate. I'm happy for anyone to check over my stuff. My applications are written to never install anything on the machine (so they can be used by people at work. They are not packaged as installation routines (I only ever distubute as a zip, or single files) and they never ask for any EVE Account details at all.
But you dont need to take my word for it, I'm sure someone will come forward to vouch for me. --------------------------------- Monkey Nut Developer of EVESuite (EVEProducer, EVETrader, EVETanking)

Quick fit will allow you to make a ship active (ie board it) and add modules without haveing the skill (the message can be disabled in the options tab). Once you have setup the ship go to the skills tab and select 'Set skills to lvl required' it will automatically set your skills for the required stuff.
Ideally you should go to the character page of eve-online.com (here) and save the XML (XML Data link) from the character page. Then use the Impoirt XML feature in quickfit to 'install' all your skills. --------------------------------- Monkey Nut Developer of EVESuite (EVEProducer, EVETrader, EVETanking)

to save you the effort of above I have located an XML filed (use the import XML feature) that has maxed skills for everything. This will neatly solve the skill shortage problem.
