Hard but not impossible I would like to point out it happens more often than people seem to realize 900-1000 DPS Vexors do the job with just 2-3 catalysts to back them up. So not Only do we enforce the CODE. but we win the ISK war by a margin wider than your wreck when were done. Is it bad if your friend says "that was a Metaphor" and you say "Meta 4? When we're quite literally ganking empty freighters for fun, you think we won't gank a skiff to make a point?
I suggest doing both. The skiff is an inherently more CODE compliant ship than most other mining ships, what with it's righteous emphasis on tanking. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

Stay aligned, keep an eye on local and your D-scan. If you follow 'normal' mining rules as you should, you 're already playing the game as CODE likes you to see it and you have minimized your risk of being blown up. Buying a permit is just lame. Playing the game wisely isn't and makes the permit rather obsolete ;) |

Honestly at least half of CODE is a joke. I will give them props for trying to add risk to an area that is relatively safer though. I have more fun taking a cruiser and bumping the pathetic Idiots away from miners when I am bored of watching them banter and cry for attention then Poking at nullbears. If anything CODE the Entity needs to stop being hypocritical in everything they do and maybe more people would care about what they want to do, and not cry so much. The fact that people still cry about them just says that people don't understand that they just want to force you toward nullsec for the crying bears out there who say they have nothing to do as they want to +10 everyone and just make people pay for SOV instead of defending it themselves. Or, make you live in a state of awareness that would be reasonable in lowsec or nullsec which honestly wouldn't be that bad if they did more to get rid of bots which neither them nor CCP has done much or care to really do much about. |

The whole CODE thing wouldn't be so lame if they would drop the religious RP. And the "play Eve like we tell you to" thing.
Extortion is fun and effective. It does not require a religious/zealous RP to work. Nor does it require justification in the form of "you're not playing Eve right" rationalizations. The entire model could do without either piece of baggage, relying instead of the tried and true "give us money every week or suffer" method employed by thugs since the beginning of time. http://eveprincessbride.wordpress.com/ |

Code permits are just a waste of money. It's just racketeering, and the whole CODE alliance and "New Order" are just petty criminals. Mining in high-sec does NOT mean one wants to bot-mine or AFK mine. I just got back to playing EVE after a 2-year hiatus to find this "New Order" of losers preying on hi-sec noobs cause they can't cut it in null-sec.

You just gave me 3 squares of Carebear Bingo Thanks!
Also see my prior post under "Getting free gank kills courtesy of CODE." and you would realize how wrong you are Most of the gankers in CODE actually live in low and Null sec either with their ganker or on an alt. I for one live in the low secs around the Great wild lands and enjoy a quality black ops drop as much as a quality gank. I even have 2 alts active in Null Sec that bring in some good ISK. In a game where everyone has 2 alts and a main by default its hard to label any one organization as "Being unable to cut it in [ Insert Space Here ]" because you dont know where these people come from unless you take the time to know them.
Then you also are wrong when you say petty criminal, petty would be stealing an apple from the fresh fruit stand, not undocking a 30 man catalyst fleet and melting a 10b Charon before CONCORD or the White Knights of Anti-Ganking could stop us. We gank empty freighters too just for Violations of the CODE. You think petty crimes are our mainstay hit refresh on killboards or read www.minerbumping.com and youll see the error of your ways
Open your mind to the CODE. and become a catalyst for change

Yes the low sec and null sec is absolutely true but you still fail to realize how spending 10 miniutes shooting belt rats and getting 1 mill + ticks is somehow not a isk faucet or bot aspirent as simply put I see more bots in null than I do in high sec and not because of CODE.

Yes it is petty given that besides trying to make sure they all warp into optimal range there is nothing to Ganking that makes it oh so hard given you shoot first before someone can remotely respond besides to burn away from the point of warp in.
Also nice pun at the end. |

If they didnt respond before we shot we wouldnt get jammed by White Knight Griffons before some of us ever even got a shot off on the target. You see were -10 so were legal targets everywhere we go, low sec, high sec, null sec, etc.
And i have no doubt there are many bots in Null, ive seen the Russian raven bots in Stain back before the clusterf**k it is now, the difference is the null bots are Harder to catch because they tend to just warp off and cloak when you enter system. Or they make so much their death means little and they re-clone next door with 20 more ships at their disposal
The high sec bots are harder to find, they blend in with normal players and act much the same but you do see them in out of the way systems often, and they tend to have a few obvious signs that give them away. Every time i hunt down and destroy a high sec botter or find one its like tracking a deer in reality, they leave signs, you just have to know how to read them and know what left them then follow it to the prey. ( thats a very simplified explanation lol )
And thank you! I do try to throw puns in whenever i can Is it bad if your friend says "that was a Metaphor" and you say "Meta 4? Get Tech II or faction" ?I love the sound of silent explosions in Space.-á |

Eve has never been a game played solely in the client. It never will be. Why should Code be any different than the rest of us? Every bloc has their propaganda drives, narratives, etc. Code has theirs as well. For some reason, people feel they should be different than any other alliance, just because the space they smash with their spaceships happens to be 0.5+. |
