Very sad to hear that another voice has been silenced. I never knew her, but wherever she is now I hope that she is happy and at peace.

Tragic affairs.

I remember her as hitgirl, and remember her great personality and skills as a player. It's hard to believe things can be so unfair. Rest in peace.

Edited by: Mister Spanky on 28/06/2006 22:25:40 Do not stand at her grave and weep, She is not there, she does not sleep. She is the thousand winds that blow, She is the diamond glints in snow. She is the sunlight on ripened grain, She is the gentle Autumnal rain.
And when you wake in the morning hush, She is that soft uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight, She is the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at her grave and cry, She is not there. She did not die.

My condolences.
I remember Hitgirl from when i started playing eve. I never flew with or "aganist" her but I got the impression that she was a great fighter.
I belive she made a post about her cancer awhile ago. I made me sad to read it then and even more sad to read this.
My condolences again and may she rest in peace. I think that she always will be remeberd by the players of eve.

I never knew her in game or RL, only by reputation and forums. Doesnt really matter, she was a fellow EVE-player and PvP'r and that means she was a bit like me. And you, and you and you...
No words of mine can express enough comfort but hopefully combined with all others it will help a little.
With outmost respect, Daniel

Originally by: Naurhir My heartfelt condolences.
I am a cancer survivor myself, I was diagnosed at 19 and went through it for three years. Cancer is not a fun thing, especially at that age.
I am sad to hear that she didn't make it, sounds like she was fighting hard.
Ya same here. I was diagnosed with it when I was 11. It is a major pain and a tough thing to get through.
To the original poster-- I didn't know her, and from reading your post she sounded like a nice person. I really don't know what to say, except I am very sorry for your loss of a friend and you should take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place right now and she is not suffering from the cancer anymore. It is a shame that she did not pull through but as long as you remember her and the things she did, she is never really gone.

Almost certainly none of you will know me under this name, and for various reasons I will keep it that way.
I only knew her as Hitgirl, never as Louise, but I feel her loss keenly. HG was a wonderful person and the world is a far worse place without her.
My deepest condolences to her family, all that knew her, and everyone that were never lucky enough to get the chance to meet her.
Rest in peace Hitgirl

This is one of those moments when time stop flowing and everything around becomes surreal.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood; For nothing now can ever come to any good.
Last passage of Song IX W.H. Auden, 1936
