Edited by: Lord WarATron on 19/07/2006 16:28:13 I dont mind if they cost 100mil each, and recycle into nothing, but i would like a BPO seeded so that I can build them on 0.0 Outposts.

sometimes people make runs from empire to 0.0 with a cargohold full of giant secure cans and, because of their demand in 0.0 and difficulty in transporting- especially for the more independant players- sell for much higher than you buy them (often up to 5m for giant cans)

That's the price you pay for living in 0.0 space. Mabye you should be able to make more in 0.0 but you should have less places to put all that loot and stuff. |

I think we are talking about station container the ones that cant be tranported with an hauler, the type of container that you use in a station to keep stuff separeted, like 'weapon' 'ammo' 'mineral'
To organized the personal hangar.

Correct - We are talking about Station Containers - Not Giant secure cans. It is impossible to move a station container out of any station, and a bpo of this item is much needed. --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

I'd go for simply seeding them into the market in outposts. If they cost double, treble, even ten times what they cost in NPC stations they would still be invaluable.

I would prefer a bpo to seeding. What is the point of an entirely player run market in an outpost if there is any form of NPC seeding of supply? ------

There is only one problem with station container BPOs. If you are based on a refinery station (not outpost) then there are no manufacuring slots locally thus there is no way to get the darn thing into your hangar
But /signed for seeded station containers and BPOs for all other types of containers.

They are needed for corp security and for basic corp management.
No point making more corp tools until the ones we have are properly seeded. Corp tools are part of the game least diluted with metagaming and probably EVE's strongest pillar.
This is more important than combat balance. It's a quiet subject because those who deal with corp management tend to be can-do people.

And I'm pretty sure that will reduce lag too, both client and server side....hundreds of items take more time to load than 3 or more container that have them inside

For this reason alone its worth every penny.
However to the Dev's, here is another solution.
Make them take up, say 100,000m3 when repackaged so we can freighter them in? --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

That must be an NPC station then. Aren't they seeded there?
If not, that might be a good first step, make sure they are seeded in all NPC stations...

Whilst running through some recylcing, I inadvertently recycled some loot that would have made a tidy profit on the market!
My mistake I know, but if my hangar was tidier, this would not have happened.
