Cruise missiles will fit in the standard M12 launcher.

though one might want to add that using cruise-missiles on a frigate can be rather dangerous if you know what I mean 
Might be pretty funny to watch that cruise missile explode right in your face, before your ship does

For a frigate, cruisemissiles is one devastating weapon. The destructive power you wield is unmatched by any turret you can fit
Make an Uberfast kestrel, equip two really good nanofibers (each will cost a lot more than the ship itself ;), some abs in the midslots. Maybe a shieldbooster if you are the nervous type. Arm with m12's and there you go.
You will own every frigate out there if you keep the distance. Take maybe some defender missiles and some FoF cruise to launch if you get jammed :)

From my experience fighting in frigates, cruise missiles have a really hard time hitting other frigates. They'll just circle the ship until the run out of fuel, *maybe* causing splash damage. So a Kestrel may be effective against larger ships but it can be easily countered by another frigate, using turrets or smaller missiles.

Heh, just plop a cruise missile on a frig with 4 buds, use alt to kill pesky ore theives, or to harass the carebears in general.
