One night, I think we should arrange a mass player-login (not all at once though) to attempt to push the total on server over 30,000, and maybe even 40,000. It would be a really decent test of the *new* hardware, which seems to be coping nicely with large amounts of players, and would hopefully make some people get annoyed and move out of Jita / Oursu ---------------------------

They should introduce *max number of players* limit in systems to avoid overcrowding lag - say 300 max ?
Gates could auto shut off once the limit is reached so u can still jump out but not in - what do you think ?
The lag is killing the game...slowly but surely

Oh noes... Been there, done that. Gate traffic control people went insane at one point and started locking gates just for the fun of it.
On the serious note, I think there is already a system like that. Only the limit is way higher than 300 people. Besides you can play fine with 300-500 people in system as long as they don't decide and do a fleet battle.

Sadly i was forced sorta to park one of my accounts in Oursulag and it's not pleasant at all, i can't wait for the day i get his standing high enough so i can move it to another agent. Banner will be updated shortly |
