If you are attacked by pirates then I would encourage you to pod those rat bastard parasites... however if you are engaged in a corp war, to pod someone would violate rules of war. Would you slaughter a POW?!

There are none, I know some corporation have rules for when they are in empire space.
My corporation is at several wars and you can find them on the left menu at corporation ( below map) then click on our wars. When you are at war with a corporation you are allowed to shoot at them anywhere, without Concord showing up. When you lose security status ( podding) then Concord will take a notice.
You can reconize a corporation enemie by a small thin red line and you get a warning.
This is not a hijack

So you can't pod someone, even if your corporation is at war with theirs?
Can you pod greefers who attacked you first ?
And last but not least, can you legally pod human Pirates? Does their security rating play into it?
Is there really no place where these rules are written down and can be read? |

If you are attacked by someone, they are flagged for aggression and are free for the taking without concords interference. If someone takes from your can, they're free to attack because they will be flagged. If they have a very low status that renders them red, then you are allowed to attack them no matter what.
So basicly, if they're flashing red, they're vulnerable to anyone. Although, I think it's only good enough to blow their ship, but not pod them. __________________________________

I imagine the vast majority of players have no idea what the rules of war are. I've been under the impression that if you see someone with a red - you still can not attack them in empire. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content - Cortes |
