CCP should at least change the fact that complexes respawn after DT. To stop the farmers from setting their clock on the plex respawn.

This will be partially dealt with by the addition of hidden complexes that can be discovered via exploration, being added in Kali1. Which one to choose is up to you, known and farmed locations or wasted time spent finding a nice complex to call your own?

its a pain. and if ur not in a good time zone your missing out. or u will be at work when dt is.
it could be done beter i agree with u.
and i dont think hideing a complex will work. at the end everyone will know its there. |

Who will still adhere to typical spawn timer ratios .... so same thing all over again.
WTB: In Game Map Setting: Players logged off in system last 24 hours. Guess why ^^

Current complex spawn times mean I can basically only run the plex at weekends.
The first spawn is as I am going to work, the second while I am at work.
The spawn timer should not reset with downtime.

well, moving complexes around, and making people have to scan systems and look for them is a way to doo this.
It would prevent ppl from harvesting a complex. say that the spawn re'rate, or call it move' rate, would be compared to the complex level for instance.
anyhow.. just a jam on the toast. :: rebell against opression ::

I'd assume, and hope, the hidden complexes are random spawns, can be "harvested" once, and respawn randomly.

I've noticed that most of the plex farmers that I have seen are in NPC corps. I propose that CCP change the way the plex accelleration gates work so that they only allow activation for non NPC-corps. That way, if plex farmers do invade....we can at least war them.

which would also lead to non-farming players, that do not want to be in a player-corp for whatever reason (there are more then enough reasons besides farming/grinding/alts/etc..) to not be able to run complexes if they want to which won't be fair to them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

indeed, there are alot of us. -to enlighten..
i'm 2yr, 6mo+ with 33mil sp still in SAK. the most common reason we stay is our distaste for player corp politics and petty bickering. others just do not have enough time to play to "properly" commit to a player corp, as well as those who simply already are a slave to a corp in RL and have NO desire to make the same mistake twice. -esp on their *off* time. ;p (ties in with corp politics)
lastly, there are those who are fierce independents in RL and mirror this philosophy in they're game play. they simply must do everything on their own with no exceptions. working for a corp goes against every synapse in their cold white clones, myself included. (i find this to be the most popular reason)
(i have an account in a player corp should i desire to tow the party line)
we have many active vets 1.5yrs-3yrs old in SAK. we have a few private SAK vet channels and play together when it suits us quite often.
SAK is unique in that it seems to always have a bias to attracting rather friendly, intellectualy rich and witty players with a strong independant work ethic as well as teamplay. -and we put the Help channel to shame.
we pretty much can have our cake and eat too...
the best part is that it never gets boring. always have fresh minds passing through..
why leave?
Locking starter corps out of any part of eve would impact far more *decent* real players than you know.. looks good on paper, -but in practice..

I totaly agree with you. Complexes should change from system to system and peeps need to scan for them. Then you have a good change you're alone and can farm it once yourself.

yes CCP have already stated in a dev blog these hidden exploration zones will be once found and farmed they will move to a new random location of vanish compeltey to be replaced by something else entirely new
I assume that CCP events team will be given the abality to seed (or perhaps the devs once a week) seed where and when each special thing will occour and once farmed vanish
Can u imagine a bisot or ark spawn appearing in a .7 system - being able to find it and bring youre corp in to mine it once its all gone its gone for good and then will move somewhere else
Could be extended to system wide asteroid belts (ie need to be found bookmarked warped to farmed - shoot the NPCs hack the mini cosmos type spot or just loot a can of uber loot once done will move
This is an important element as the farmers will have to move around i can see player corps forming to speed up this process
Perhaps might even aid in the dispersal of jita a bit. If these things are spread around reasonably value or contain rare hard to find items with a specific role and dispersed then players might take a risk in trying to track em down
