As your skills improve they will become easier, but most newbies use battlecruisers for the extra safety.
Can you use tech 2 medium drones yet? They will rip apart level 3 missions. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=366607 - Gank incursion runners, win prizes! I've done all Level 3 missions in a shield tanked and shield rigged Vexor with critical drone skills at Level 5. I've had no problem just using Hobgoblin IIs to complete the missions. Try an Assault Frigate. Nothing in a level 3 can really hit them.

I don't think an Assault Frig is the right move given he is less than 2 months old, it takes the best part of a month just to get the bare requirements to fly one.
I think you would be better off training for T1 sentry drones and perhaps a mirco jump drive or just stick with a micro warp drive. Either way should trivialise level 3 missions. |

A few things to remember:
- not all missions have the same difficulty, could be you ran into really difficult ones - make sure your fit makes any sense, specifically in regards to resists - lvl 3 is where you have to stop clowning around, you can't just blunder into them anymore so read up on a mission (using EVE Survival) before you start it - use sentries, they allow you to sit at range which generally means you'll get hit less - having the skills to fly a Myrm isn't difficult, it's exactly the same skills as for the vexor plus the BC skill - if you give up that easily....
Yes, yes-áI am. Thanks for noticing.

I run L3 missions in a Vexor Navy Issue, which I'd much recommend over a standard Vexor because of the extra low slot. It's essentially a baby Ishtar, as you're able to field five sentries and receive bonuses to tracking speed. In fact, I'd prioritize training up sentry drones over advancing in ship classes. With Sentry Drone Interfacing to V and appropriate sentries (see the above recommendation re: using EVE-Survival) you're basically outputting Dominix damage.
In terms of tank, the VNI provides a lot of options. If you're having a lot of trouble, you can (1) use just two Drone Damage Amplifier IIs and fill the other four slots with armor tank (e.g., 2x EANM II + Damage Control II + Medium Armor Repper). Or (2) drop one EANM II and replace with a Drone Damage Amp II. Or (3) hull tank (i.e., 3x Medium Transverse Bulkhead I rigs + Damage Control II + EANM II or Reactive Armor Hardener and then as many Drone Damage Amps as you want). There are plenty of other set-ups, but those are generally fine lows.
Anyway. Don't give up. You don't need a Myrm for L3s. I'll send you a message in game. |

No, you should sel PLEX and buy yourself a well fitted Gnosis. Even with low skill this ship can blitz L3 missions. And when your standings will be high enough to run L4 missions, what is left from that PLEX should be enough to fit Dominix like this: [Dominix, rails] Federation Navy Large Armor Repairer Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Federation Navy Armor Thermic Hardener Federation Navy Armor Kinetic Hardener
Sensor Booster II, Targeting Range Script Large Micro Jump Drive Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link, Optimal Range Script Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link, Optimal Range Script Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link, Optimal Range Script

Large Drone Scope Chip I Large Processor Overclocking Unit I Large Drone Control Range Augmentor I
Curator II x 5 or Bouncer II x 5 or Garde II x 5 or Warden II x 5
With that tool you will not need to buy any more PLEX if you make PvP only occasionaly. |

This is an utterly appalling fit to offer a new player.
100m+ for the omnis, another 100m for the repper. Ridiculous.
Not only that, it is completely redundant on a domi anyway.
@OP: Green(or blue) doesnt equate to awesome. Stick to cheap to learn the ropes. Be less likely to be shot to death by destroyers, unlike the fit I quoted which is a pinyata waiting to be popped. |

The Gnosis is a decent L3 mission boat, but the posted fit is waaaaay to expensive. Standard T2 fit would be more then sufficient. |

p.s. That is not a Gnosii fit, it's a Domi
Still doesn't change the fact that it's WAY to overpriced...T2 should do. Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Beware of webs and energy neuts (rare). i recommend the ishkur. I second this, especially if you want to do some pvp later on. The ishkur outputs respecable dps at a wide variety of ranges while having a small sig and strong enough tank to easily do level 3's. Assault frigates are extremely skill intensive though. I recommend nearly perfect fitting skills before moving into one. Myrm because of it's shape can be a literal death trap I've lost several myrms in lvl 3's because I got stuck on geometry from the "tail fin" when attempting to warp, "the cargo delivery" being one of those missions where you're prone to get stuck. |
