I have now trained Drone Interfacing to level 2. The description says that I gain 20% to drone damage output per level. I can't seem to find anywhere on my drone's attributes where that 20% increase is reflected.
Typically when I look at a module I can see the change that takes place when I train a skill that effects that module, such as rate of fire. But with this skill I can't see any noticable change in statistics. Can anyone tell me if maybe I am looking in the wrong place or if I need to check out my drones in some specific way. I am doing 'show info' on my drones that are in my current ship's drone bay and seeing no changes.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

For some odd reason, there IS no way to see skill-effects on drones. And it sucks. I hope CCP changes it soon...

It would be great to be able to see in quantified terms the changes. As it is, one can only sense that the drones are becomeing more effective in battle with each level gained in the skill.

You may remember that previously the Drone Interfacing skill allowed one more drone controlled per level of the skill. There was no need for a change to the attributes info at that time. Perhaps it was going to take more time than worth the effort to change the code to reflect the change in the skill and so it was left out?

just let ur drones out on a corp mate. get him to send u combat log, train interfacing more and repeat.
Or... use evegeek's drone calculator http://www.evegeek.com/drones.php

Problem with that reasoning is that NONE of the skill bonuses to drones show up on their sheet. No speed from Navigation, no damage from Scout Drone Operation, no optimal range boost from Drone Sharpshooting, etc.

I think part of the reason is that most skill modifiers show up when the module is fitted, not when it's sitting in your cargo hold. So, if drones are in your drone bay, they may not count as being "fitted."

Seems like that could be fixed if there is a flag for "fitted" in the code. If not... it would require an addition "IF" statement. Of course, that's my naive basic coding solution... it's probably a wee bit more complicated to actually implement :)

10 IF drones are in (ship)bay THEN 20 show the friggin' stats! 30 goto 10 40 run
