Unless the hisec ganker changes their mind about the operation, their ships will "explode" (I switched back to using plain old boring English) 100% of the time. I'm happy someone shared their experience of surviving a gank. What I'm really responding to is the misconception that ship killing has to be an honorable and difficult business. People will always try to take the shortest and most unfair route to the result of you exploding. This is a vital element of EVE, fighting unfairly, and I do believe those who think otherwise deserve a response. In terms of things I am offended by.. I can count a grand total of 1. I'm sure if you hang around long enough, you will find out what that is.. but ships destroying ships is not one of them. lol rolling on floor.. i would probably be laughing though.. not crying --Pepper the Penguin ~ And when the seasons change, will you stand by me? ~

There are new individuals, corporations, & alliances cropping up all the time getting involved in ganking & similar activities. Your best option is to check out the EVE-Kill & Zboard killboard sites for the systems and neighbouring systems you frequent and go through the months for the past year. You could read the C&P forum board as well as gankers like others to know what they are doing. Local intel is a priceless commodity - treat it well and it will look after you.
