I am new to EVE and I come to the forums to try to find usefull information to help me with the steep learning curve of EVE. I do find some informative posts that are trully helpfull but what I see the majority of the forums contain are posts that say "My race is gimped give us this" and then all the replies are "OMG no way that would give you guys a pwnzormobile."
Anyway, Just an observation. Im looking forward to getting flamed too, so I may as well add this "Help Amarr, we only do EM dammage and most people have 80% Em resists.  Give us a missle boat or a BS/BC drone boat."

Just avoid the corp & alliance, and general sections of the forum and you'll be fine.

Its alot of that right now because in september we are getting new ships. And no race wants to get a tier 3 battleship that is really bad. The last time new battleships was introduced was in 2003 when eve started. So its pretty important that these ones turn out OK. People are of course very sensitive since some have spent years specializing in a race.
Anyway, welcome to Eve. The forums are usually more filled with happiness. This is temporary. I hope. :)

You forgot the flames! Oh the glorious flame wars! more deadly than any in game war, lemme tell ya. Yeah, everyone thinks their race needs more power. So let me be the first to say GIVE US GALLENTE A HORRIBLE NEW BATTLECRUISER! That way we can complain about it for years to come!
