Would this work?
I have my main char who is a domi with tech 2 drones and can hold a decent tank but on the tougher missions I get creamed fairly easy.
So I am currently training up another main to support this char's tank, in which the support guy is training for raven and I plan to fit 4 large armor repairers.
If I warp my main guy in and then take the aggro and then start getting my support man to start remote repairers is there a chance my 2nd man would get targeted?
Main char flies domi and mega, 2nd char is curently training for raven and has zero other skills.
Any other suggestions welcome.
Thanks, Satan.

Hi, Satan
You won't be able to run 4 large RARs for long. They eat a lot of cap. Besides, 1 or 2 should be plenty. I'd go for a ship with a big capacitor and good recharge for the support function, like an Apoc. Alternatively you could use the Raven to do the attacking and keep it alive with heavy logistics drones from the Domi. Those drones are very powerful.
I don't think the support ship will be targetted as long as it doesn't attack anything but I will let someone with more experience from this situation give a more conclusive reply.

My setup
Raven fit for damage: Hi - 6 arby cruise, 2 250 mm prototypes Mid - 1 gist b-type, 4 specific hardeners, 1 target painter Low - 1 PDU II, 4 BCU II 5 hammerheads, 5 hobgoblins
Osprey: Hi: 3 tractor beams, 1 med shield transfer Mid: shield booster (just in case), cap recharger, capacitor, and AB low: cargo expanders
with the osprey's shield transfer bonus, the shield transfer runs forever. It is a very rare occasion that I have to even use the gist booster on the raven, and the raven puts out a **** ton of damage.
My corp mate does something similar with his megathron and an exqueror. he aggroed the entire last stage of Guristas Extravaganza (not the bonus stage) and survived

As Barbicane says, large repair drones are great for support in a mission. Flying a domi, you could fit a full set plus plenty of spares and support your other battleship. Having said that, I guess that your raven-piloting alt is probably low on combat skills which is why you want the domi to be the damage-dealer.
The raven will work as a support ship, but it wouldn't be my first choice. The raven moves like a brick. Remote repairers don't have a great range, and if you don't keep an eye on both ships it's easy to move out of repair range at a crucial moment. Nanos in the low slots of the raven would help, but might compromise any cap recharging or tank you want to put on it.
Finally, look at some of the threads in the forum to see which missions are wingman-unfriendly and avoid those. Angel extravaganza stage 1 comes to mind - in my experience a wingman makes all the rats in the stage aggro.

My plan is this
Satan as the damage dealer in either a Domi or Mega which is ever is more recommended as I dont have a clue about what to fit and have my raven with 4 large repairers tanking him and using the keep at range option and not going outwith the range.
Satan is the main guy who is a character who has 19m sp's only on fighting and armor tanking.
The support char can only just fly a scorp and has zero skill in gunnery or missiles.
Thanks for the replies.
Satan.

Yes, your second character will draw fire in some missions. Any mission which has drone agro bugs is a mission where other ships are at risk. For example, in the first stage of L4 Angel Extravaganza, the second ship that warps in will agro the whole spawn, just like the whole spawn agros when you release drones.
In some cases the missions are harder with another ship there.

I use a Raven as primary and my alt in a Ferox with a remote sensorboost, remote small shield repair and gang assist module. But you should be very carefull when warping ind with your alt! I have tried to loose both ships in about 5 mins when all aggroed and my raven was scrambled /Lord Drachenfels |
