(When in a general mmorpg webpage someone asked to me what I was willing to pay for in my fave game I said this; it's not a joke, it's real and it would be nice for you to read, Devs included, as I'm demanding services that I want to pat for:
First, remember that we have google. Google is bigget than anything before; it's a revolution but it does not contain all the info about very specialized games: I play EVE and I think I would pay for intel info... but this info must be acheved by some mean that allow enemies to even beat sometimes that system and lead me to wrong info; because I pay for it 99% times it would be exact and real, but with a little probability on failing.
Second, I will pay for a magazine that talks about everything about EVE, player corps, last movements, Economics, politics, intervieus and guides to difficult things or new ones, I would pay 3 Gé¼ a month for such a thing to get it in my Kindle or a little more on a physic magazine.
Third, Luxury: if I want to, and I want to expend my money in pure luxury into the game, why not? I'm not affecting other players neither hurting them so I wish luxury, everything personal and customizable for me, not making choices from a catalogue, but having a chat with devs and designers and teliing them what I want. In my city there are places like that, I go there and say exactly what I want and even if it doesn-¦t exist they create it for you. It's a question of good communication. As luxury I will pay good money, not hyper expensive but prices must allow everyone to be able to have custom and unique things there.
Fourth. I wish to be in contact with my guild corp whenever i want and wherever I want, some system like an smartphone app to be in touch with my people. It should be for free. You simply put adds of the other things that you sell and its free. But I will admit to pay 1,50 Gé¼ every four years, same as whatsapp. These are good ideas, I think some CCP exec should read this, because what I demand are things that many people want there. |

OP:
1. Thanks for the info about Google. I'll have to go look at that.
2. I guess there are a lot of people that might pay for a magazine, but at some point someone has to be entrepreneurial enough to not just want it, but to do it. In my opinion EvE isnt big enough to support an internationally distributed magazine, especially when the digital World is right in front of you. There are alternatives available already, and for free. TMC, EN24 and a whole host if player blogs give you access to a lot of writers and opinions already.
3. Have you tried the NES? or if you mean out of game items, then maybe something posted direct to CCP marketing might be a better option.
4. Have you tried TeamSpeak or established an IRC for your Corp? There are apps for it already. Skype, Facebook, etc. i personally would prefer CCP sticking to what they do, which is develop an awesome game. There are better tools out there already for lots of add on services we use, so no need for CCP to reinvent the wheel in an area that isn't their specialty. Come Win At Eve - Join The Vendunari

1a. Take all information with a grain of salt. Even intel. ESPECIALLY intel. Because trying to get up-to-the-minute information on every aspect of every thing in a game where the content (see: people) is constantly moving, adapting, and hiding is like asking to know exactly what goes on in the head of a woman. The answers will often be contradictory and never precise. Hell... we have organizations of players in the game who specialize in intel and they are only correct part of the time.
2a. We used to have EON magazine. It wasn't profitable because few people subscribed. So it was scrapped.
3a. NES store already exists. And no one really cares about more "luxury" items being added in as long as they are purely cosmetic. And yes... the EVE store for actual tangible stuffs needs to be updated very badly.
4a. Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Jabber, Mumble, and (here is a novel idea) exchange actual phone numbers with people and use 3rd party apps like Viber and Tango to talk to anyone around the world via WiFi without incurring any charges. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

Everything you mention either has existed or does exist. As you mention in your own post, you are simply demanding that someone else help you use them. Amusingly, your first suggestion could have solved all of your suggestions. |

LOL...
1. You obviously don't know how to specify your google searches to include or exclude certain websites etc.
2. Already there...for free...it's called blogs and TMC / EN24 etc.
3. NES shop...already there... go waste your money on clothes and ship skins.
4. Again, already there. I have Vent, Skype, Mumble and TS3 on my smartphone to stay in contact with my gaming friends and access to Jabber so we can do the text based chats and pings about stuff (both EVE, RL meetings, other games, what ever).
Hell, I even have some phone numbers from couple of EVE former corp mates so we can stay in touch. Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

There was a magazine but not enough people were buying it. The cost to publish went higher than what they were selling:

"I want someone to do my intel for me. I sit back and pay them." Drop me a message. I do in game spying all the time. (No, not with this toon here, silly!)
"I want someone to generate more content for Google." That would be a tall order since Googling pretty much anything game related gets good results - of course unless you're Googling for intel on other corporations...something you're going to have to pay for as a separate issue, or DO YOURSELF.
"Luxury..." Huh? Luxury? I'm assuming you want to put a leopard skin rug in your "quarters;" maybe buy that Picasso...or poster of some pop star you'd like to f....uh. Anyway.
Sure. The OP is deserving of worldwide media attention. CCP? Get your ears on!

The amount of nakedness in this thread offends and shocks my deepest beliefs.
CCP, please fix.
Also, I want to be able to hire assassins to gank other players' med clones.
I will pay much ISK for this service.

Since I'm sure Seagull and the whole dev team will be following this thread very closely, I have a message for them.
CCP dudes, ignore the op and his measly offer of 3-4 Gé¼ per month! I'm willing to spend up to 5 (FIVE!) euro/month for strippers in my qc. Plus 1 Gé¼ if I get to choose their clothes.
