Usually it takes some (annoying) time to be able to lock something when landing on grid after warp. Is this time fix or does it depend on the ship's warp speed and can be influenced with the Hyperspatial rigs or else? I'm my own NPC alt. |

It's based on warp speed. |

It takes longer for people to be able to lock you after you exit warp, than it takes for you to lock onto them.
Like already mentioned, acceleration/deceleration is based on warp speed of your ship now. Most ships dedicated to tackling the enemy are already quick at warping so they don't have all that many issues locking up people before they run away anyways. |

Hence this means I can roughly reduce my "time to lock" by 25% with a T2 Hyperspatial rig? I'm my own NPC alt. |

Your time to lock from the moment you appear on grid is a factor of your scan resolution, the target's signature radius, and your warp speed. The higher each of them is the shorter the time. |

There is a threshold on how quickly you can decelerate, mainly cause without that threshold the bubble would be up as the sabere enters your grid.

Your decelleration rate is primarily bounded by the warrenty on your air bags. You'll void your shot at a free noob ship if you slow down too fast. |

I'd like to not exit "warp mode" at 25% velocity. While not that big of a deal in a small ship, it really seem to take age in a battlship for example. Wasn't it closer to 75% before and if yes, why did it get changed? |

Unless they added a new cap on deceleration after Kronos or something, very fast ships like interceptors will literally appear out of nowhere because of how the server ticks with information works. |

Does this mean, the time till you exit warp and are able to lock something also depends on your agility and mass, or is this a "fake" deceleration only determined by your max warp speed? Warp space deceleration rate depends on your max warp speed only. It is 1/3 of your max warp speed, with the max value of 2, meaning that all ships with warp speed above 6 decelerate at the same rate. Battleships exit warp much slower because they have terrible warp speeds, thus having very slow deceleration rates. |

Thanks for the explanation, this helps to decide whether to put a Hyperspatial rig on a ceptor or not - rather not, at least for the purpose of locking ships faster.

There may not be a cap on warp acceleration though. So warp speed rigs may still help you get up to speed and thus on to the target faster. |

I'm pretty sure that they did change the speed at which you regain control of your ship during the warp speed changes, only CCP knows why they changed it. I'm pretty sure that it used to be the same speed that you entered warp(approx 75%), and now the speed that you regain access to your ships systems is more like 20% or lower, its really annoying, interceptors you're pretty much stopped when you regain control of the ship. |
