Yes, there are no docking restrictions in hi-sec. "PvE in EVE is a trap to turn you into PvP content, don't confuse it for actual gameplay." Lipbite |

A hidden gotcha about this is that gallente factions will begin to hate you as you progress in FW. This standings loss will roll down to the corp that owns that gallente station in amar space, and the station services prices are affected by your standings ( or they used to be ). Thus after a while if gallente hates you enough, you may find yourself paying way more for repairs, brokers fees etc if you base out of a gallente station vice amar ones which would get cheaper.
Now, if you do fw well enough, it can be argued that you'll make enough to not care or even notice. But the mechanic does exist and it relates to your question.
In fw areas of low sec, if the other faction owns the system, you won't be able to dock in any station in that sysem |

Thank you. Now let me ask this then; if the station is owned by Genolution which happens to be a member of Jove Empire but on the overview it shows as galante type. So this means the station will not go down in rating right? I found out its not jovian when i landed but it says galante type on overview not sure if what you mentioned will affect that station. |

Any and all players are allowed to dock in any NPC station in the game regardless of the faction standings or criminal background (see: security status).
The only exception to this rule is low-sec stations when you are in Faction Warfare. You cannot dock in any system owned by the opposing side (which, again, only applies in low-sec).
So what is the problem with low faction standings?
If your faction standings go low enough, you will be listed as "kill on sight" by the NPC POLICE (which hurt, but will not WTFINSTABBQ you like CONCORD).
You can get the same response with a low security status.
This will be in addition to the Faction NAVY (which is weaker than the Faction Police) which will attack any "enemy" faction warfare player in high-security space.
Gate guns will not care unless you shoot at a hapless neutral. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

Owner of station is what matters, not the type of the station.
So in your case, it's the Jove standings determinating the cost of the station services. Empires seek capsuleer assistance in Sleeper research! (Updated with research points-) A selection of upcoming events in the Eden cluster-á |

You can dock anywhere in enemy high sec. You cannot dock in enemy low sec. You can dock in friendly low sec. It doesn't matter what type of station it is. What matters is who holds sovereignty in the system. - Crimson Draufgange, CEO of Extreme Overkill Inc. |
