Gorgeous wonderful gritty drama returns!
U-Tube Link.
I for one, am awaiting the depravity the humans are demonstrated to exhibit, the humanity the cylons will demonstrate and the evilness of politics throughout.

I believe this will air in October 6th for people US side, does anyone have any information regarding the Uk series 3 air date? I remember a rumour that they would do a virtually simultaneous launch for this series, to see if it decreased the amount of filesharing that occurred, but since that rumour I've heard nothing more. Anyone have more information?

BSG info
Scroll down to the heading Production and in the Season 3 section it says
Quote: The SCI FI channel has ordered a 20-episode third season, which will premiere both the US and the UK & Ireland in October 2006. There will be no "split" between Episode 10 and Episode 11. Production began in April 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia

This will be a hard decision; should I follow the series when it's aired or wait until the season is finished and watch it all on one weekend? -.-

** possible spoiler if you have not seen series 1 and 2 yet **
I love BSG to bits, its the best series I've seen in a long time but I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy the 3rd one as much as the first 2, the whole idea of them in space as a fleet was what made it interesting for me so now that they have settled down I'm not sure if it will be as gripping. Ofcourse I will still be checking it out, I hope I'm wrong and that its just as good as its been until now. -----------------------------

I think BSG is a superb show and up until the final episode of season 2 I hadn't seen a bad one. That last episode was a huge disapointment and I hope that season 3 gets us back to basics. ___________________________________________________ Serenity Prime Is Recruiting |

I disagree entirely, I thought the final epsiode of Series 2 was excellent, flipping the tables so dramatically. The ships will still be in space, battling with their own thoughts over if a return to the newly settled world is a fight they can ever hope to win.
We're left wondering if this cylon fleet is the main group of cylons, or a new breakaway sect within the cylon nation. Can they resurrect at this range, have they a new resurrection ship? Have the cylons landed to control the colony simply to drive they back out into space, to force them to continue the search for Earth? Perhaps the Cylons are simply spuring them on by this attempted subjugation, and the Cylon goal is the same as the Human one, to find Earth?
The end of Series 2 ensured that BSG wouldn't become stale, it ensured that each episode could start afresh but maintain within their wonderful structured story arcs. I think this is what sets BSG apart from many other series.
Looking forward greatly to Series 3, and very much hope it airs UK side around the same time as US time, as rumoured and aluded to elsewhere.
