Hello, folks,
I've had folks recommend that I, as a miner, use a mining upgrade on my ship.
I see it in the Quick Fit program: Mining Upgrade I Meta 1.1 - 1.4
However, I can't seem to find it on this site's item database page nor can I find it ingame when I check the market.
What exactly are these things called? When I search in game for "mining upgrades" all I see is the skill book for it. When I searched on "meta" all I got was "metallurgy" etc... I can't seem to find anything that is this mysterious Mining Upgrade I Meta 1.X
Can someone help me please? I need to know what to search for on the market so I can buy this ellusive creature :)

It's under turrets & Bays/mining ugrades

Hmmm... are you sure, loony zoon? That doesn't match either Quick Fit's name nor description... of course... Quick Fit is quite possibly wrong.
I certainly mean no offense by asking if you're sure, just want to double check.
Quick Fit calls it:
Mining Upgrade I Meta 1.X, (1.1 through 1.4).
The description is:
Dissipates energy weapon damage efficiently, thus allowing them to be fired more rapidly. Penalty: Using more than one type of this module or similar modules that affect the same attribute on the ship will be penalized.
Now... that description confuses me as to how it relates to mining... so I'm rather confident that you are correct and Quick Fit is not... but again... just want to double check.

I suspect that "meta" item is either an item from the database that isn't available, a placeholder, a bug, or a strange COSMOS item. The thing you want is definitely the mining laser upgrade I.

If you still cant find it check if you have sohw only availble ticked or unticked the amount of times its happened to me is unreal.
