jsut a friendly warner to people whom like myself pay via splashplastic as of 30th you will not beable to use the old service. and the new cards are not supported..
does anybody know if there any kind of supporting comming in there place or if support is going to be upgreaded??
as this is my only means of paying for these kinds of online games.. it was only reason i got one was beacuse off ccp and there damned game LOL!
and i used them to pay for my 2 year old chars..
this is my 4th account :>

I to have been playing scince feb 2004 and this is my 3rd account, i also use splashplastic not because im unable to get a credit card being in my mid 20's but as i would prefer this payment method.
A ccp responce would be nice on this one as short of buying GTC for isk i will have no way to pay for my subscription once splashplastic support has been removed

damm i to use this method , is a rly easy and stress free way of paying (IE the stress that comes with C/C's etc).
hmm a formal response would be nice just to see where we stand so we can try make a way round it.

I have a switch card which won't work and getting a credit card would mean going through making a new account and all the bother associated with having one.

Cheers for the help. One other question.
I used a gtc to sub last time and it will expire soon. If I try to setup a direct debit now will it cancel out the remaning days on the gtc or just add them to the end of it?
It may sound silly but I've got mixed answers here and it would help to get some clarification.

Hmm - this is the first I've heard about this - could you give a link to more info? (Splashplastic is the main reason I'm playing this game too - if I can't pay with that then I can't/won't play).

and no i cannot pay eve via a direct debit.. i have a flexaccount.. unless i can do it with this.. : / gezzzz im crap at banking lol, unless anybody can point a site out were i can buy GTCs with splashplastic or text? .... or it looks like im agent whoring to get 120mill... and ffs this account is the only one i have up and running..

I just went through the process to extend subs via splash plastic and didn't see any notification about any changes.
Unfortunatly I don't live in the UK right now as I'm on work placement so I can't top up my card and resub my account before the deadline is up so unless the direct debit works that's me fubared as far as eve goes.
Is it possible to get some sort of response from CCP on this?
Are they removing splash plastic as a payment option?

I use these people, and they accept paypal.
Btw are the new splashplastic cards actually debit cards? If so cant you use them with paypal? (I havent tried this as I used the above company to purchase an ETC)
I have one of the new SP cards, due to direct paypal payment to CCP stopped, but didnt know that the new ones were not accepted (it has ú40 on it too).

Well - I just tested it out - (though I don't have anything on the card atm, so I couldn't complete the transaction - (I left it before clicking on the Make Splash Plastic Payment button). I have to say though - that it seems a tad different to what it used to be - (I'm sure I usually get a screen like a statement or so before I had to tell it to pay - unlike now). Maybe paybycash has been upgrading a few things, and it was unable to process stuff until it'd had been completed?

The "bother" of being able to pay for things on the Internet world wide without having to resort to muddled local solutions that disappear one day because they cost companies too much to support in a world there credit cards work just fine? 
Credit cards are not bad. It's abusing a credit card that's bad. Simply use it to pay for things like EVE Online subscriptions and only that and you'll be fine and far far happier.

HIya, I posted yesterday about this, but it seems to not have worked.
I had been using my cousin to pay for mine and my husband's accounts, cos we dont have a credit card and I found a site that does pre-paid mastercards. It works exactly as the credit card does except u can top it up at the post office (takes 2 days to add the money) or at a cashplus outlet (money goes on immediately).
I dont know how to do the link thingy, but it is called "Cashplus". I typed in prepaid Credit cards and it came up with a few sites.
It says the card is accepted at millions of places worldwide, same as the actual mastercard is, so I dont foresee any problems, It costs ú9.95 for the card and there are two different options after that for either a monthly fee on the card of ú4.95 with no transaction charges or if you will only use it occasionaly it is ú1.49 per transaction or something like that.
I think if it were just to be used for Eve, then it wouldnt work out very expensive at only ú1.49 per time you need to use it.
I am waiting on the card arriving as we speak, so will let you know if it works ok. It may be an option as it is not easy in scotland to find ways of paying that are not going to cost the earth.
