I'm thinking of installing Linux onto all of my computers after I saw how much better it is compared to windows. Unluckily it doesnt have many games developed precisely for it. But then I also heard of an emulator that emulates Windows.
Does EVE work on Linux by itself or do I need to emulate windows on linux for it to work? Or does it work at all even if I emulate it? -----------------------

I have heard people say that Eve runs fine under Linux. I haven't seen it myself though, so no guarantees.

Requires you to run eve using a windows emulator. Doing a quick search on Google, cant Remember the name, I was under the impression WINE was renamed? Anyways, I believe its possible to run it under the latest WINE emulator, with a little bit of tweaking, do a search for some tutorials on it, im sure somewhere an Eve Linux enthusiast has written one.

Ok... Thanks for the responses. I'll see if I can get it working... luckily I dont have to format my harddrive in order to install Linux, so if it doesnt work, I'll just revert back to Windows XP... -----------------------

As with all things, a quick Google search will show you the golden doors. EVE on Linux oughta do the trick. I -think- that's the search I entered Way Back When to get it to work for me.
Good luck!

Thats what I'm probably gonna do on this computer at some point.
On my other comp however, I will prolly install Linux only.
Also, thanks for the replies on the emulating thingies. I'll have a look later. -----------------------
