Transparency off, blur off, theme Carbon:
- when I press down LMB to turn camera, all windows change opacity - switching chat tabs causes radical change in opacity from light, to dark, to light - activating a window causes opacity to change again
I'm getting physically nauseated after 30 minutes of playing around, this is not a good thing. |

No difference between "high" and "none". |

Chat tabs are desynced and blink at a random order. This causes a race condition in your brain and quite possibly causes you to miss information, especially as you lose all chat tab blinks when you only activate one of them.
It's both intrusive and hazardous, considering old behaviour please. |

Having multiple chats on the same window:
Issue: Chat window contents jump up and down for 1 or 2 frames Expected: Nothing happens Result: Chat content jumps up and down for a frame or 2 Reproduction: Have more than 1 chat window stacked to a tabbed interface, make sure there is at least 30 lines of text. Click on the Alliance tab, wait for it to switch, then at any point after this click the same tab again without moving your mouse causes the chat to jump up and down. Side effect: Any other channel which is NOT the alliance chat channel, when you do the procedure, only the standing icons on the channel participant window blink once, also repeatable with multiple clicks. |

Kale Freeman wrote:Unable to login
Using the launcher I get the authentication and the bulk data progress bars and then I get a black screen. I never got the screen where I would select my character.
I have a similiar problem if I use the exe file directly. I get the splash screen. I login. I get the authentication and the bulk data processing and then I'm left at the splash screen. I never get to the screen where I would select my character.
This happens on all 3 accounts.
I've logged a support ticket. I've attached a logserver log file. I've restarted my computer. I've cleared my cache. I've cleared my settings (which is going to take ages to get back again). Nothing makes any difference.
Try to click on a spot where you should have your character, some people have managed to get past that way. |

I have turned off the blur option and I have high-end hardware so that is not the issue.
So, despite GÇ£performance testingGÇ¥, either the new UI or the new PBR are causing significant reductions in performance. No-one asked for this new UI, and most people hate it.
Fancy new cr4p is all very well, but performance should not be sacrificed for it.
CCP still breaking stuff that works instead of fixing stuff that is broken.
Awesome.
I'm seeing fully opposite effects, whereas I used to get around 35fps on average with 300+ pilots on field and substantial hangups when landing on a grid with a fleet or 2, now I get constant performance of 60fps (vsync capped) and barely a hitch when landing. If only it helped with my head ache. |

I'm not really sure, but here's the general gist of things:
Blur off Transparency 0 Carbon No pinned windows AA disabled Textures, Shader High LOD miedum Post Processing Low
There thing here is that for the first hour I had weird stuttering and generally horrible performance. After rebooting my computer I logged in to find the most fluid Eve in 5 years. I guess post processing might be a resource hog. |

Posting again to remind that I'm running out of aspirin. Aspirin is hella expensive and shouldn't be required to play the game, please give us an option to remove the color changes when a window is activated and give us a way to set "activated" window state as default instead of having to read 100% white on 100% black. |

Greygal wrote:Had something weird happen several times during the NewBro Roam this past Sunday. Will attempt to recreate the issue, video it, and submit a proper bug report, but thought I should post it here just in case it's a known issue and/or others have had it happen.
We came through a gate, and I was in fleet warp position in the fleet, and in a bubble. Most of the fleet was NOT in the bubble, but some were. To save as many as I could, I did the same thing I've done hundreds of times before: I initiated a fleet warp to a safespot.
Every other time I've done this for years, everyone in fleet who was NOT in a bubble would get warped off. Those of us in the bubbles, of course, would remain stuck in the bubble.
This time, nothing happened. I tried again and again, and nobody warped. Told everyone to warp themselves, get out of the bubble, get safe, etc.
The pilot in the wing command position - who was NOT in a bubble - also tried to initiate a wing warp, and nothing happened; he also did not warp. Normally everyone not in a bubble in the wing would be warped.
We had similar things happen later on, where it seemed like if anyone in a command position was in a bubble (or maybe it was anyone in the fleet, not sure, will test) trying to warp the fleet would not work.
Needless to say, this is not normal fleet warp behavior (or nonbehavior as it may be) with bubbles.
This was on Sunday, December 14th, 2014 between 20:00 and 01:30 on the 15th.
Will attempt to recreate, video and file bug report.
GG
I can confirm this happening, one squad member from WIng 2 was inside a bubble and FC initiating a fleet-wide warp (2 wings) did not function. When the wing commander of Wing 1 initiated a wing warp, it functioned normally, but wing commander of wing 2 was unable to initiate the wing warp. Manually warping off did allow us to leave the field but ships were lost and reimbursement claims were posted.
Ours occurred at 20:25:05 on 15th of December. |

This is the simplest I can make this: http://imgur.com/GOuElfq
Top is harder on your eyes, bottom is more lenient. As a bonus it's easier to read because the contrast between the text and background is not as acute.
Implement windows to have permanently this setting and stop them from changing colours every time I turn the camera or focus them please. |

Dangeresque Too wrote:Found another fun little glitch apparently.
When looking at ships in space, it appears as though you can't see the turrets that are on the ship unless you click the "look at button" for that specific ship. Even when you maneuver the camera really close to a ship, you still can't see if it has guns until you click the "look at" button.
I don't remember this being the case before.
That's due to the performance optimization and LOD working as if it's centered on the focused ship and not on your camera. Your focused ship (either your own, or 'Look At' target') will be always 100% sharp and have everything animated while anything away from focused ship is lower in detail the further away you are.
This used to be centered on the free-floating camera and not the focus so it is a change, not sure if it's better or not. |
