Hello!
I'm currently a little worried about my faction standing with Amarr. (dropped to -2.5) I never did any missions for Amarr so I believe I have to do the opening mission for them as I had to do it for Minmatar also.
What I wonder is .. Amarr's standing towards my corp is -.4 or so ... so basically much better than mine .. if I go to Amarr space and want to do missions there to raise my personal standing, how does it all work?
Does my corps standing get used for *any* and *all* interaction with Amarr agents? So bacally even if I drop to -6 .. as long my corps standing doesn't drop much lower I can still just go there, take the startup mission and then freely mission for a lvl 1 qual -18 agent ?
What I want to avoid is a nasty surprise one day where it shoots me and I never get back up.
Thanks for any help there!

Currently your corp's standing has absolutely no effect on the members' ability to get missions. The only thing it does affect is the ability to obtain jump clones.
If your personal faction standing dropped to -5, then whenever you entered Amarr space, you'd get some ships chasing you (easily outrun and can be tanked), but a corp mate with standing higher than that wouldn't be touched.
Even if your corp's standing dropped to -5, if any member's standing was above that, then they wouldn't get chased by the Amarr Navy when they entered Amarr space.
If you were trying to get missions in a new faction, then as you would not have any standing to their corps, you'd have to use your faction standing. If that's too low, then you couldn't even get started.
I've heard rumours that if your faction standing drops to -5 you can't use any of their aligned corps, even if your corp was high enough to use their agents.

Start doing missions for Amarr corporations (preferably Amarr Imperial Navy). Do about 16 missions for the same agent and you'll get a storyline mission. Complete it and your standings will go up.
Train Diplomacy to 5.

Doesn't starting missions require a standing of 2.0 though ?

EDIT: -2.0 I mean
Yes, it does. You need to train diplomacy (for empire factions) or criminal connections (for pirate factions) until your adjusted standing is -2.0 or better. Then you will be able to work for an agent and raise it even higher if you so wish.
