That'd be that awesome if EVE made music like dubstep (like space music) for PVP and of course you have the option to turn it on or off or choose which song plays. Kinda like the mission music, and of course that's up to CCP but I think a lot of people would like dubstep, and think with the EVE space music and mission music the dubstep would be spectacular. |

Dubstep only after they do Bluegrass, Polka, and Disco. Don't go scraping the very, very bottom of the barrel first. |

This is literally the worst idea I've ever seen on this forum.
Dubstep is the worst kind of music, objectively speaking, and it would totally ruin the game's atmosphere and sound for more people than it would help boost it.
If you really need to listen to that garbage while playing Eve, just run it in the background and leave Eve's sound alone.
Or better yet bring back the jutebox. |

Besides all the different kinds of dubstep have you heard the real dubstep? It's the same as mission music in a way, in fact theres songs with futuristic machine gun warfare with a lot of bass. And that's basically the music futuristic industrial heavy machine guns. And CCP can make some really good stuff their music is the best. |

To some that's simply a guitar but at least you pointed that out. |

I was listening to a pretty awesome dubstep song when I came up with it and it sounded space industrial like, and it might have to be ambient-like. But yeah heavy metal is good too. |

Disco likewise with the big fight light shows. Dubstep.. well anything i have to say about dubstep might be construed as a personal attack, as it involves personal taste. "real dubstep"
the real meat: Eve Devs have a lot of other things much more worth the employee bankroll. Music should be the absolute last priority in the game. not that it wouldn't take 20 minutes to produce hours of "dubstep" |

**** douchestep. Douchestep is made by untallented hacks who have no clue on how to properly mix multiple tracks into a coherent whole, so they sperg all over their beat boxes pretending what they make is actual music.

Don't take me too seriously though, I like to tease a bit on the forums, but that's only because I love you...

Jukebox request. AGAIN.
As with any human, we must map out everything for the sake of living. So what happens when you put the same aspect in a game with random events? They go nuts trying to figure out how to predict and map out everything.

I suggest if you need music, picking your own. Jukebox removal was an acknowlegement that they don't want to spend the time to keep it in reasonable shape, just like the eventual demise of the in game browser

"My taste in music is better than your taste is music..." <--this is why they won't They will continue to have what they think adds to the atmosphere of the game. If you want possible inspirations they may have employed watch Blade Runner, to start with.
And just a reminder; you're on a PC - if you can't manage to play music you want while playing the game you want, you're doing something wrong. Adjust your settings if you have to for best performance, etc.
All that being said, I like my fair share of dubstep, old skool and new, but I can guarantee it won't bring the atmosphere the game requires. This is space, not a rave party. The best you can hope for is to go live with the Gallente, they're into hedonism

Actually I think I can help you with this idea.
First, go to your local music shop, google play music, itunes, spotify or amazon to source your music. Then either use the software provided, rip the music (where legal) or download one of the dozens of music players. Set hotkeys for volume up, volume down, pause/play, next/previous track. After this, start Eve like you normally would and press the hotkey to start the music, adjust volume to fit the current situation and you're pretty much done.
As per your original suggestion: your taste in music is not shared and you should feel bad (ingame). |

I think I'll just add my 2 cents worth of hate for Dubstep, and support for the Jukebox, however it really is just easier to turn off the sound in Eve and use an external program to play your own musical tastes with. |

or you could go to one the the many places that you can download music [legit]. soundcloud is the best option [or one i use] then simply play XYZ using Windows Media Player [or similar]. no need for Devs to "waste" time adding something majority of players will likely ignore and listen to XYZ instead as they currently do.
however i make music and simply play it back to get a unique feel/vibe. keeps the game fresh and interesting.
if interested in what sounds i make give me a mail.
