Its a load of BS.
A ship warps into wherever you are. You want to engage. It isnt in the slightest bit clear how long it takes for it to become lockable.
Seems to be different to when the warping ship can move.
Given this is a pvp game there should be a clear indication- when you land, when you can move, when you can target, when you can be targeted.
Sort it out ccp. |

Isn't it 10 seconds on plex warp in if the ship doesn't move? <-- that may be wrong
As soon as their speed increases (not when their warp speed decreases) they are lockable inside of that 10 seconds.
This keeps things a little more sporting for gangs jumping into other gangs since the entire gang can enter before their invuln is up instead of having members picked off one by one due to slight activation delays.
Seems pretty sorted to me? |

every ship has a different delay from exiting warp due to having different agility modifiers. You will find fast frigates dropping out of warp much faster than , say, a battleship.

there's all kinds of bullshit about targeting. sometimes while spam lock on a target there will be an unexplained few seconds of no response between "target is invulnerable" and "target out of range".
There's nothin' like skating away from a fight with the hull on fire, some mods burned out and a cargohold full of loot.

Its not about ship type or where a ship comes out of warp.
Every time a ship exits a warp it is invulnerable for what i believe to be 10 seconds (might be 5 long seconds :p). This doesnt matter if you are finishing warp inside a plex, a site, or just somewhere on grid.
The reason this seems like its a random time is because the person who has warped can cancel they invulnerability by performing and action. This way they could be lockable anywhere from 1-10 seconds after landing. |

I tested it, it's 10 seconds.

And tbh, if they had the courtesy of warped in to you, the least you can grant them is some control over exactly when the action begins. So, working as intended imo. |
