Edited by: Scorch Mor''Tayle on 12/09/2006 07:55:10 For those who have not yet heard....
Last week a loyal Amarr Warhorse passed on to be with God. Valerius Morai was podded in an engagement in Satogas system. While this normally is not a big deal thanks to clone technology. This time his clone did not activate. Apon further investigation it was revealed that the clone was deactivated from within Vals own pod just moments before his destruction.
~~Raises a glass~~ To Val, until next we meet. goodbye my friend.

My dear cousin, we had our differences, but I'll miss him.
Noone could have introduced me to the universe as well as he.

If you are lacking in any information regaurding this, let me know. The truth of it was quite brutal.
Another Ex-AM meets a gruesome fate. I shall have to pray on it before understanding how I should feel on the matter.

Following a routine pilot debrief, it seems the pilot Valerius Morai did indeed pass on to God along with his command ship, at this sad time for his friends & family we can only say that he died quickly so the suffering was minimal.

Thought I follow no faith, you have my sympathy. The harrowing thought of deactivating the clone activation before dying sends a shudder down my spine. I'm sure he'll be missed.

it is always sad to see a warrior die, it is sadder still to hear of one die of his own hands. may the lord god overlook his sin of suicide and allow him his place.

Few can say they knew Valerius Morai better than I.....I was informed vicariously through a transmission from a mutual friend....and I cried. I have not done that in almost a year. I'm not sure who I wish to blame....but....I will certainly not allow the memory of this amazing man fade. I have comissioned a monument to be built to Valerius at my estates on Sharhelund III....
Valerius, I will never forget you, no matter how much time passes for this mortal coil....you were a rock for me on so many occaisions....and knowing that you will no longer be there to support me....It scares me.
I love you.

How could this be?
Valerius Morai was many things in life, warrior, devoute follower of god, and friend.
I remember a very long history of the great work we did together and Val always stood strong and tall and held to his principles. His was a voice of reason in turbulent times and his heart was always full.
He lived and died a proud servant of god, and he will be dearly missed.
I will take time now to reflect on what has been done and what once was. A great deal of Val's memories remain stored safely away in the halls of UQS and her members and he will not be forgotten. www.AegisMilitia.com For God, Empire, and Sarum! |

Val died as he lived. Full of pride and holding his head high.
Kular, You are right my friend we all have great memories of Val and will hold them dear for as long as we live. Next time you are sitting chatting with someone share those memories and in that way we shall keep Val with us for ever.
o7 A toast, "To Val you old warhorse. May your spirit remain with us all always. And I'll try and take it easy on your little bro." <half chuckles>
