I'd like to have a check box on the character info window, specifically the Employment History tab, that removes NPC corps from that view.
Not a function for yourself, just when you look at other profiles.
Our screens are cluttered enough and the info if someone has been in a npc corp has limited value (except you want to see if the target was afg for a while maybe) and that single checkbox removes half of the entries in many Employment Histories. |

The Employment Hhistory tab could use an overhaul overall indeed.

I'm not one to tinker with stuff like "accountability" or "character history" and all that but being able to simply not see NPC corp history (apart from the initial one) just makes really good sense.

Awox, Corp theft, Corp Spais, Wardec Hopper (yeah, even idiots complaining about it should look how often an NPC corp shows up before they go looking for a fight). Can't see a reason to ignore it, even it its optional and turn it off. Best off to not look at the page unless you have some weird obsession about stalking random people on the internet. One thing about EVE and CCP I don't understand, is how much useless information it keeps for ever, |

It doesn't matter, as long as your name remains you will have a history of thefts, awoxes and other "bad" deeds.
I'm fine with either.
FYI I have destroyed a fair share of corporations, I don't care if carebears keep their intel, I just wan't to keep awoxing in highsec a thing.

It really is useless information because you have join and leave dates on every corporation. So if the they are missing a week from their corp history, its obvious they were in an NPC corp, and it doesn't really matter which one they belong to since there's no real difference between any of them other then which chat window you belong to. It's not like NPC corps have corp assets or can shoot each other or do anything other then talk with each other.
Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

-1 (if it takes too much work on ccp's end.)
I mean if the very "foundation" of the recruitment process is poorly constructed, why trim around the edges wasting time buffing something that is clearly broken. I always try to say that the sandbox will benefit a lot from "opening up more channels of communication between peers", if the recruitment process gets a buff like that (a higher quality communication) then you are looking at different set of challenges and different "little things" that needs fixing. |
