Dunno if this is the right forum, but I am not sure where else it would fit, and I doubt I am the only one with this problem:
Won an auction...in Jita...can't see the items. I have been sent a screenshot (seller very helpful) of the auction, so I know it is up, active and spelled correctly. However, even when I am sitting at the station with the filter set as low as it can go (show only affordable and show only station) I still can't see the items. No matter what filter settings I use (and I have tried all of them) I still can't see them. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you solve it, short of letting the escrow timer run out and moving to a different system or direct trading?

If you went to the station and filtered correctly and it does not show then it isnt there :/
(Could you afford it?)

Shouldn't the seller have escrowed it in your name? Set that filter and it should be the only one to show up. If they escrowed it as available to everyone, it may have been claimed by someone else already.

Can you do that? You can filter it to show only escrow you issued, but can you restrict it to show what has been issued for you?
Always thought it would be a useful feature.

I agree with both of you, and in any system other than Jita, it isn't a problem, but I have seen the screenshot, and it shows everythign it is supposed to, I have filtered and sorted in every possible combination, and still come up empty. My personal feeling is that it is because Jita is so damned crowded with escrows.
A scam doesn't really fit, since I haven't given the guy any money yet. I suppose if he felt like it he could doctor the screenshot, then sell the items to a higher bidder, but I don't think that likely in this case.

If your at the station and still nothing under station only.....chances are its wasn't on Private Escrow and some1 else snapped it up

Its part of the current issues with escrow that when too many escrows are issued at a station you wont see it, had this problem myself very recently. When a station is too loaded with issued escrows, ALL new escrows will only be seen for a few hours until the 'max' amount of fresher escrows pushes your escrow off the viewable list, so to speak...
What i did was to empty my wallet and use the 'can afford' filter. Luckily this was a 0.0 escrow so i just kept my isk on an alt for a couple of minutes.
Try and remove as much isk as possible from your wallet but so that you can afford the escrow, to remove as many as possible that you cant afford..

Ah, I thought the 'Issued by me' also showed 'Issued to me', but I was mistaken.
What you can do is sort by 'Available to' and that will pop your escrow to the top or bottom. Not sure how this works with respect to the problem of only seeing the newest escrows, and I'm sure the OP tried it already anyway.
Sorry, I'm out of ideas.

have tried the part about reducing my wallet...I have 100k more than the item cost in my wallet...still can't see the darned thing...and I must say, after looking at the escrow screen so many times in the last few days, I remember why I stopped using it... Why the hell you can ignore or filter out certain sellers like you can ignore them on the chat channel really frustrates me. I don't need to see so and so's 23 attempts to pass off a cargo expander 1 as a local hull expander or the 105 capital cargo bay bpcs that some other guy has for sale. Let me filter out that BS. (just a bit of a rant there, sorry!)

Yes, that is correct, and I am 90% sure I can't see it because of the fact that SOOOO many get set from there. I am hoping to get the seller to move it once it expires, or to direct trade, but until then...

can you pursue the escrow issuer to cancel his escrow and transport the item into other station or even other system (e.g. Sobaseki) ?
If not, then try to catch him online and try direct trade.

Only solution in your problem is
The Seller must wait till the escrow he had in your name runs out, then he will get a plastic box that he must repackage in order to retrieve the item, the set the escrow again and this time either tell him to move the item in the next station, or ask him to wait till you get online so you can retrieve the escrow at the same time
Escrow shows something like the last 1000 escrow in whatever filtered you have set, probably the item was up for more than 12-24 hours and it got hidden
Hidden > 1000 in time order

I found this problem today first time... I put escrow yesterday for 0.00ISK on my friends name. My other friend told me that he should put all his ISKs to another account (need to have 0ISKs in his wallet) and then try find escrowed item again <--- it helps, but like I said before it was only "named" escrow puted for 0.00 ISKs.
