Since the last patch (s) almost everything I find online is outdated.
Short question.
Im working towards being able to get = or better value from the minerals than from the raw ore. Currently im at about ~58% yield and im losing around 500k per 10million when reprocessing. not a whole lot.. but I would like to do better
Ive got reporcessing and reprocessing effiency trained to 3 so far, as well as the reprocessing skills for the specific ores.
Are there any other skills im missing that impact reprocess? im starting to grind missins to get the tax rate down too..
Mining isnt my primary occupation, but I like it for the consistency so I want to get as much out of it as reasonably possible.
I dont have access to anything or anyone who can do ore compression unfortunately. and I don't have any freighters, which is why I am trying to avoid having to deal in the bulk of the raw ore. |

Skills * Reprocessing * Reprocessing Efficiency * Material Specialization (one skill per material).
Also: * 4% reprocessing implant * Eliminate reprocessing tax: 5 / 0.75 = ~6.667 standing (6.68 always works). * Use 50% or better facilities.

Most of the time I just compress rather than refine, which doesn't require an implant or skills. I have a small POS that I keep offline, and only online for an hour or two to compress several freighters-full of ore. POS reprocessing facilities are also 52% in hisec.
As always, do the math! The market is volatile, and differs by location. |

I don't think I'm anywhere close to having the skills, funds or connections to setup my own POS. so I'm kinda out of luck in that regard.
but as for the rest of it it looks like I've got the right idea

but as for the rest of it it looks like I've got the right idea Most corps should have a POS you can use, or just buy your ore / ice from you.
Still, you have to do the math to decide if it is better to reprocess or just to sell the ore / ice. Example, enter mineral prices, get ore values: Crius-Ore-v1.01.zip |

One more thing sometimes forgotten - batch efficiency due to rounding truncation. Ideally, you'll want to do reprocessing with massive batches, instead of multiple reprocessings with smaller batches. Iirc someone did some maths on these to find the sweet spot for minimum batch buried here somewhere. |

Good info.
Currently, since I have no major plans, I'm just hoarding and only doing anything with it if I need the funds, OR I have it posted as a sell order with a high price.
Quit the corp I was in last night so hopefully I can avoid doing much until I find another. |

Again, if you sell the ore instead of refining it, compressed ore will sell for more, since it's easier to haul larger quantities of compressed ore instead of minerals or raw ore. |

Again, I dont have access to compression.
My options are raw ore or minerals. and transport is an issue so *MY* best option is to reduce the volume as much as possible without losing value. |

Went off your old posts got standings for a npc corp to 6.69 yet my refining remains at 69.6% in station with 4 % implant and al skills maxed, I just tested it with veldspar and wasnt getting the 72.358% you posted. Any ideas as to why? |

Bugged display. Implants don't get included in the displayed numbers, but they do get included in the actual refine. It's just a display bug. |

If you mine with our public fleet I'd be happy to compress the ore for you if you want.

(1) Train corp management to lvl 1. (2) Create your own 1-man corp. (3) Buy a Small Control Tower. it doesn't matter which one. Amarr fuel blocks are the cheapest out there so there's that. (4) Buy Empire Starbase Charters, depending on where you want to anchor your tower. Gallente ones are the cheapest, but their cost is fairly irrelevant regardless of where you put the tower. (5) Find an unoccupied moon. There are thousands of them, just not within 2 jumps of Jita or Amarr. (6) Anchor the Small Tower near a moon and online it. (7) While it onlines, Train Anchoring to lvl 1 (8) Buy a Compression Array (9) Anchor and online the Compression Array (10) Profit!
You can then take down the starbase again after you are done compressing, or just leave it up and offline it. Note that in Hisec nobody can shoot it unless they wardec you, at which point you can just take down the starbase anyway. |
