When i reject a mission, I don't loose any standings ( or so I was told. That's correct right?)
How long do I have to wait until I can reject another one without loosing any standings?

I was told once every four hours per agent. I haven't seen it said officially, though.

Yeah once every 4 hours you can reject a mission per agent. Unless you disabled it you also get a warning message if you try to reject a mission to early. However you can only reject missions that you haven't agreed to fullfill already, if you started the mission you'll lose standing regardless of the timer. -------------------------------------- Agent & Mission-Info: http://www.eveinfo.com Evewide Market-Info: http://eve-central.com/ |

To be used in an example:
<first time talking to an agent>
Agent: Hello <insert name here>, Good to see you You: I need a job Agent: I need you to run Duo of Death level 4 You: Uhh, no thanks, I'm busy tonight(w/e your character says) Agent: Okay, I'll find someone else to do it </first time talking to an agent>
<second time talking to an agent> Agent: Hello <insert name here>, Good to see you You: I need a job Agent I need you to run Gone Berserk level 4 You: No, I don't want to do a easy mission with good bounties Warning Message: Are you sure you wish to reject this mission? to do so may lead into losing standings with this agent. If you lose enough standings you may not be able to talk with them again You: Yes/No Agent: Good luck/I hate you </second time talking to an agent>
Then either you do the mission, wait for it to expire(the offer itself or the mission if you do accept) or just lose standings.
PS I was bored.

I think you get a -1 on the count towards the next storyline missions when you reject a mission. For example, you usually need to complete 16 missions from the same agent to get a storyline mission, but if you reject 4 missions since the last storyline, you need to complete 20 missions.

That is not the case, you have to complete exactly 16 missions then you will get an important mission, regardless of how many you decline in the process.
If you decline a mission before the 4 hour limit and take a standing hit, i don't know what happens to the important mission counter, but then again, if that is the case you probably don't give boobies about important missions.

Edited by: Taram Caldar on 24/09/2006 16:55:17 You can decline 1 mission every 4hrs w/o faction hit If you decline more than you take a slight faction hit each time you decline. If you ABORT a mission you take a pretty severe faction hit.
I never decline storyline missions, I will, however, let them expire (without accepting them) from time to time.
