Can we this feature please? We have so many time zones with DST without bla bla bla. It would be really ncie if we can adjust eve clock to our time so it stays there and keeps this time, on all things like skills, jobs etc. Like an option to select the city you live or something like that. Thanks. |

Another solo bear that doesn't realise EVE is a multiplayer game.
No. UTC time is essential for organising almost any kind of corp activity in EVE. Mess with it, and I'll mess with you. |

Or you could just use your own clock to tell the time, instead of the one in Eve. GMT/UTC/Zulu time is a single time zone that everyone can agree on and is essential for working with players anywhere other than your own time zone. If you are only playing by yourself or with IRL friends, use whatever time you're used to.
If you want to see your skills/industry jobs/etc in your own time zone, either do simple addition (if it's 6PM here and the industry job finishes in 3 hours, it'll finish at 9PM) or use EVEMon (EVEMon does support time zones for display). Note the difference is that EVEMon is a single-player program, you're the only one that uses it, while Eve itself is multiplayer. |

have not seen the tz bait used for a while, interesting and oddly refreshing choice.
Look at your timezone (click on time lower right hand corner, click on timezone), add or subtract the number it tells you....and there ya go. If its complicated to factor in DST, write your congressman to end it. DST was for farmers a long time ago. It, like standard vs. metric, needs to go away. Ex-pat here....its a much better way to do things. |

First of all read the post before answering useless words. What i said is offset, you know what that means? i guess not. You choose the offset and you can efit it the way you want. If my fc calls an op at 18:00 eve time, i know that my client clock will be 22:00 for example, so i dont get what kinda of problem you raising here.
And by the way i have seen more pvp action than you have seen in your 2 year playing time, so get your facts straight.

yea because THAT is much easier than CCP making an option.... |

Um ... Eve time IS UTC. And it doesn't use Daylight Savings time at all. |

Eve USES UTC.... its not UTC.... tehre is a difference to what that brick squad kid said. Still noone talked about forcing a specific time. Im talking about an option. Saying that you cant organize your corp because ppl use their local time is the very least.... unprofessional. Besides CCP can add 2 times, server time and local time, like many other games. |
