Welcome and thanks for looking!
Let's get straight to the point, all bullsh1t aside... this is what we are currently offering to pilots who wish to join Pinnacle. I have been trolling around this forum for a while and have had an alt join a few of the other seemingly great-looking corps; only to be disappointed by either lack of active members, promises not kept, false advertising, becoming hidden in a corp that doesnĘt know I exist, etc. I can honestly say, what you are about to read is EXACTLY what you can expect when joining PNCL.
- A chance to get in with a corporation where your voice is heard. We offer member-owned stocks, which equals voting rights and dividends for you
- We offer employment to capsuleers of all ages and we truly enjoy helping new members get up and running - just ask any of our corp members
- Highly active leadership AND members
- Clear goals and organizational structure, code of conduct, etc. (see website)
- Each time you log in, you will be greeted by no less than 50% of the current members online; save AFK, etc.
- Fantastic corp environment and chat; though sometimes it can take a turn for the bad-humorously worse
- Low-stress, industrial-military corp based in the Essence region on the outskirts of Empire
- Many of our members have done the 0.0, low-sec, alliances, etc... tours of duty - and frankly we're in no hurry to get back or join one, though once we're ready, watch out
- A place where you are not just another number
- A mature atmosphere of players who enjoy having a good time and helping one another
- A non-pirate environment, though we do enjoy popping their pretty BSs when they flip our cans
- A great-looking and active website; currently be redesigned by myself
- Optional corporate operations - the more you put in the more you get out
- We will not be on your back barking orders about doing stuff when all you feel like doing today is sitting in station drinking a cold Quafe while browsing escrow looking for your new toy
- We operate and interact with the other EVE players in a very friendly and professional manner
- The understanding that you have a life outside of EVE and that a game takes a backseat to these RL commitments
Now, let's list the less important things our corp does/has, just like everyone else...
- L3 and L4 group missions and DED deadspace complex runs
- PVP and military training for those who want it - our Chief Security Officer has around 50million skill points
- We have a strong member-base in both US and Euro time zones
- Corporate high-sec freighter services (currently free of charge)
- Working towards setting up a high-sec research POS and probably some moon-mining POSs
- Group mining ops - we typically run these a minimum of twice a week, if not 3 or 4 times
- A freebie hanger where members give, take and trade modules-ammo-drones... whatever
- We'll build you any ship AT COST and we'll also GIVE YOU useable ships based on you performing corporate goal-related tasks
- TeamSpeak server to use anytime, which is only required during military operations and when low-sec mining. Voice chat only req. for group leaders
If after reading all this you are still interested, please send me an EVEmail, reply to this thread, or message me online and I'll be happy to discuss any other questions or concerns you may have. Also, please take the time to review our website for further information and details about Pinnacle.
Thanks for your time!

I would like to add that we are not only looking for industrial pilots. We need combat specialists as well as long as you aren't pirate. Also I'm specifically seeking an experienced trader to head the trade division of the corporation. If you are heavy into trading this might be a fun opportunity. We're a friendly bunch so don't be shy about contacting us in game. You can join our public channel PNCLPublic.

I like the concept you have laid out - expecially the ownership of shares - which is the main reason I'm looking for a new Corp. Your message mentions a desire to do Moon Mining and Research POS's, and as I write this I have 2 full Large POS setups and 6 months of fuel sitting in my hangar. I was planning on setting them up in 0.0, however, and would like you to clarify your 'Fringes of Empire' location. Do you have access to 0.0? Good relations or NAP's with nearby 0.0 alliances? Cuz I'm not gonna get rich off of Empire rats
For my part, I'm a 29 Mill exp Carrier Pilot with Gallente Carrier V, Fighters V, Advanced Drone Interfacing IV, and all the pertinent Nav skills at IV or V. I also own a Carrier, Freighter, and can fly a Dread. I've got several billion isk in assets, and am looking for a way to turn that into the 16 Bill+ I'll need for a Mothership.
My goal is partial ownership of a Corp, with enough stock to make me rich as the Corp gets richer. If you feel that I might fit into your plans, please send me an eve-mail or contact me in-game.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing is wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out.
Check our forum for the answer to this perplexing dilemma.

The letter "E" does not appear in the paragraph - this being significant because in average large blocks of English text, "E" is supposedly the most frequent letter. I noticed that immediately. Am I correct?
I want to tell you guys this, as well: I am impressed with your image. Your forums, your recruiting demeanor... everything. Even your bumps have finesse. I'm very impressed.
I would apply, but unfortunately I'm a combat pilot who is thinking of going - and you specifically excluded those sorts from your recruitment.
But anyway, keep up the great work.

You too are correct! Guess my riddles are getting too easy. I'll post a simple Halloween-related riddle around lunch. Stay tuned...
Xori; also, thanks for the comments. Sounding like the player we would love to have... unfortunately, yes - we are anti-pirate. We do encourage PvPers to join if they want as we have plenty of pirate company around our HQs, but we do not condone it.

Red Four, we would like to speak with you more in-game to make sure you are a fit for Pinnacle and that we are what you are looking for - before any committments are made.
Send me an EVEmail next time your online then when I catch you green - I'll drag you into a chat. Also, you can sign up on our forum and get communications started that way as well as others have done.
And no, you don't have to answer any riddles first... that's just my feeble marketing attempt at driving people to our site and keeping our bumps flavorful and somewhat interesting.
Thanks for your interest.

You guys sound great!
I've been playing EVE for just over a month now and have grown bored with Republic University NPC Corp (aka. Soloville). I've been looking for the past 2 weeks for a good corp but have been comming up short as to what my goals and desires are. I was just to the point where I was going to atempt to form my own corp just so I can try and set goals for myslef and others like me that would have been willing to joine.....but then I saw this post. Ya'll sound exactly like the kind of corp that I was going to atempt, even down to the devisions!
Like I said I currently have been playing for just over a month but I fall just short of the 1.5mil SP requirement (1.35mil at the moment) I've been focusing mainly on the Combat side of eve (Ratting and Missioning, little PvP expericne...for the moment) but I'm more than willing to slap on some mining lasers and lick some roids if need be for the corp.
If in another week you're still recruiting I would like to join Ad Astra Vexilum and be apart of something bigger than just my personal gain.

Hey there, the SP is just a number, it's nothing set in stone. If you are active in-game and out- (which it sounds like you are) I'm more than willing to bend some on that. As you know screenshots, skill training, and all that jazz is mainly to help try and defer trial account spy alts, meh- whatever--- is a bit silly, but neways.... By the time we talk a bit and make sure its a good fit for both sides, I'm sure you'll be pretty close regardless.
It would be great if you can take a minute and create an account on our site and introduce yourself to our members. Also, join us in channel "VEXIL" in-game so we can talk. If I catch you green, I'll drag you in.
With the reformation of our corp, from Pinnacle of old - we are looking for some motiviated individuals to indeed, as you mentioned, help us set some goals and steer us towards them.
Best of luck with your search. |
