Now i've been looking in to different ways of making eve look better, regardless of performance issues, since im making a promo-kind of movie. I've looked into the advanced graphic settings but they dont make any sense to someone like me. I've also tried to set my antialiasing on my nvidia gfx card to 8x,but i really didnt notice any differance at all. Anyone got any tips?

Best you can do with a Nvidia card is enable advanceddisplay in the prefs.ini file, and add "advancedDevice=1", and then enable AA in-game, unfortunatly, Nvidia drivers don't like forcing high levels of AA and AF in-game like ATI cards, but this fix will get rid of the jagged edges around ships for you (although you'll see a massive drop in performance on your card). ---

I'm running an ATI 9800 Pro and have set the above in the ini file, but i can't see in the game option where to set AA on !

It's supposed to be in the Graphics option if u have done it right...But was ur client closed when u put the line into prefs.ini?? if not u need to close it first ;)

It's under "Multisample Type"
0 is off, 1 is medium, 2 is high. ---

Yeah i've tried it,even tried setting it to 3.. Couldnt say that i noticed any difference, other than my mouse not working for a split second every 5-6 seconds (quite annoying) Well anyways.. Whats the best friggin ATI card around to get?
