sry if this is in the wrong subforum maybe there should be one for navigation or something.
anyway when you right click warp to in the selected item window u can set a default warp to distance.
my question is how the hell do you make it work.
ive tried entering a number between 0 and 10,000 km but it doesnt warp me to that distance most times. |

Are u talking about "warp to" option aftetright clicking on a distance objects?
Right below - warp to 0, there is a drop down menu where you could pick up desired 10 30 50 70 and 100 km.
Otherwise you should use bookmarks.a |

No he means the *warp to* button. You can indeed rightklick it and set a desired distance. Allthough like Shah said, it works only up to 100 km. Im not sure if theres a minimum distance though... |

this may be true but im only selected short diatnces at the moment.
for example 300 or 140 or whatever. its like when a target has a ping or a tac off a gate in the direction of another celestial so u warp to said celestial and then warp to gate trying to land on him
but i c ant seem to get this feature to work. |

I don't know about a minimum distance, but I've set the warp to button to 10km (for lowsec FW plexes) and it works. |

Both of which are bigger than 100. You are telling it how many kilometers from the target you want to warp. Enter a number between 0 and 100 only. |

If he's entering 140m (rather than 140km) it's not surprising that it doesn't seem to be working.
Although insignificant at the ranges the OP is looking at remeber that there is always a 2.5km margin of error - your ship will always land in a 2.5km sphere centred on the "warp to" distance. |

1.) The minimum "warp to" distance is Zero. (The minimum orbit distance is 500m).
2.) The maximum distance is 100 km's.
3.) The values you enter are in units of meters. So, if you want a "warp to" distance of 85 km's, you must enter 85000.
4.) Changing the default "warp to" distance has some unexpected consequences. All warps "you initiate" where you do not specify the distance at which to warp will use this default distance, including when you warp a squad/wing/fleet. |
