http://img134.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitled3my7.jpg if you check that picture out you will see that i am getting a big problem with my gfx when i run eve. it doesnt do it to any other games so it is only with eve.
i have changed to the newest gfx card drivers, uninstalled, then reinstalled the newest, i am not overclocking the card and there is a extra fan on the gfx so it isnt overheating.
anyone have any idea whats happening?

Looks like a defective card of some sort. Either damaged, shorted out, or simply bad.

Yep, the card is broken. The pattern of the corruption, plus the fact that the window borders are corrupted as well as the 3D area, suggests the card's video memory is defective.
Nothing you can do about it, really. If the card is under warranty send it back, if not chuck it away and buy a new one. |

ok im having the same problem. what i dont understand is it only happens in eve????????????????????????????????????????????????????/. i have ran americas army, and several other programs.
SO I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE ITS THE GRAPHICS CARD IS POUCHED!.
im hoping someone with half an brain can answear this problem. i have played the game for over a year on the same system and had no problems . this game is patched so often that it would come as no surprise to me that something in the last patch is screwed.i love this game and that is why i pay to play it, however the gameing issues surroundin eve have been an ongoing source of gaming disappointment.ccp support system although usually able to deal with the issues eventually move slower than molasses in january.
can we get some help here.
p.s.- i have a radeon 9700 pro.

You most probably have not updated your drivers. Many people can't make it much more clearer than what was said above. You do not have the drivers installed to support DX9 rendering, hence why these issues apear.
It doesn't matter what you think, this is a hardware/software error, and NOT related to EVE. ---

Well you got mad artifacts and something is wrong with your depth buffer. Delete the prefs.ini and get a new fresh one and see if it fixes it. Get wewest drivers as well.

awesome i thought it was a depth issue at first. it seems to happen in station and outside of station when cynos are set up the most, but over time it has gotten into more sections of the game and is spilling over into windows. ah because im a software dummie at heart can you give me a little more direction?

Try running 3dMark05 (make sure it's 05 and not 06), and see if you get artifacts there, if so, it's to do with your drivers and/or the hardware. You could always try www.omegadrivers.net <. ---

I used to get that alot on my laptop with an ATi 9600.
The soulution I found was to lower the AGP speed down to 4x (either use smartgart or bios to adjust when using an ATi card) and it fixed the problem. It seemed that eve put a high load on the system and the PSU could not provide clean enough power for the low voltage AGP 8x but the higher voltage of 4x AGP worked without a problem. I did not notice any slow down in graphics ----
God gave us a brain, he also gave us a voice.
Shame some people have yet to connect them.
