The vote-match by Diedra Val sort of failed me this year. As a result, I dunno who to vote for. So, maybe you [the community] can do me a solid and help me out. Here's my primary key-points:
1) Dust 514 / Project Legion.
Eve player since 2006 but Dust 514 really took over my time back in June 2012. As a result, I want a CSM that will advocate for the continuation of the games that we've now spent years on and have invested lots of money in. Unfortunately, CCP Iceland likes to pretend that Dust 514/Project Legion don't even exist and CCP Shanghai keeps Dust 514 alive on a skeleton crew, with the last information we've heard about Project Legion being six months ago.
We do know for a fact that there will be no presentations about either game at Fanfest, which does not bode well. I need to know that whoever I vote for will work to keep the Infantry side of things alive and would be willing to listen to those of us who play both games, working to include both communities' feedback. We've made strong pushes in the Dust 514 community to get ISD extended over to us, as well as legitimate API support.. Unfortunately, none of these things have happened and will likely only happen in the eventuality that CCP Iceland begins to play ball as well.
2) Lore.
I need to know that the candidate I vote for is a strong advocate for more lore interaction and more avenues for which that lore is available. I would like to see more official support for in-game events and while I think that they've been doing a fantastic job as of late, I want to see that momentum continue rather than fall off. Stuff like the Battle of Caldari Prime took months of planning but was incredible to be a part of and small things like the medal that participants of that event received are right up the alley of good lore inclusions.
Also, more official support for things like the Pod and Planet Fiction Contest are always great.
3) Small gang impacts and Power Blocks
I really do love the sandbox, don't get me wrong, but it's sort of a pain in the rear to see the same alliances and coalitions change names all the time but never actually have anything done to them. Something inventive needs to be done to prevent the stagnation. I'd personally like to see less dependency on timer-based sovereignty mechanics and capital ship reliance, as a vague example.
