Edited by: Marcus Alkhaar on 12/10/2006 16:57:00 I prefer the Ishkur....
Its the best npcing frig for 0.0 (serp/guristas - because it deals the best damag, atm I deal 325 DPS in it) with this setup:
3x Neutron Blaster II
1x 1mn AB II 1x X5 web 1x Tracking computer (best I could think of)
1x small armor rep II 2x Mag stab II
2x Hammerhead II 3x Hobgoblin II
----------------------------------------
and for PvP its very suitable too - I can tank very nice and still deal as much damage as other AF's
3x 125mm II 1x small nos
1x 1MN AB II 1x X5 web 1x 20km scrambler
1x small armor rep 1x exp hard 1x damage control
2x Hammerhead II 3x Hobgoblin II

For ratting... ishkur (good damage and no ammo worries)
For PvP.... harpy or enyo. This character cant fly harpy, but my original one could and harpy with 4x 125mm II is a killmail generator. Enyo is also good, although limited in pvp by its shortage of mid slots.
If Enyo and ishkur had their low/mid slot layouts reduced... that would be awesome. Ishkur would have the better tank to compliment its drones (more lows) while enyo would have another mid slot so you could fit something other than scram + mwd/ab

Best t2 frig : Enyo Why : Because i feel confident enough in it to take on most ships 1 vs 1 and sometimes even outnumbered. Plus its got good tank and good damage. 2 setups :
Pwn all : 4 125mm II 1 arbi standard launcher
1mn afterburner II Fleeting warp scrambler (20km) or a fleeting webber, depending on whether im on anti frig duty or try to kill all
Small rep II exp hardner 2 cap relays
1 warrior II
Blaster Fun : 4 ions II use null and void rocket launcher
mwd warp disruptor
small rep II damage control mag stab II cap relay

Vengeance. It's one of the few Amarrian frigates suited to (limited) solo work and it's the sexier of the two; unlike the Absolution vs Damnation.
It's a bit crap (the majority of AFs are) but I'm holding on to the hope that, one day, Khanid ships won't suck. Meanwhile we'll sail the high seas together regardless.

3 x Neutron II w/ Void 1 x Small Nos
1 x MWD II 1 x Web 1 x Scram
1 x Mag Stab II 1 x Damage Control 1 x MAPC
In gangs of frigates, your always top of the list, in solo work, you can take on anything that doesn't web ya. :)

Ishkur: pwns other frigs and even cruisers, nice slot balance and drones mean you arent totally dependent on cap like most other frigs.
Stiletto: tackler or tackler/EW, crap for anti-frig tho.
Cheetah: good fast tactical covops
Buzzard: good covops with some supporting EW
Crow: spiffey and can do most of anything decently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Never lost a Taranis to another ceptor or assfrig. Tracking Disruptor/ECM ftw.

One of thse dropped my Jaguar's shields (med extender tank) in about 10 seconds, fortunately that's how long it took to put the guy down.

That would have to be my Nemesis stealth bomber passive shield tanked. Not going reveal my setup but it catchÆs most people off guard. The last thing anyone expects in combat is for the bomber to be tanked. ItÆs good for baiting cepters who think you will run after 1 volley. ItÆs also good for hunting other bombers as it can tank enemy bomber. Passive shield tanking guide click here |

Retribution 4tw .
It's realy only any good for Missions/Group PvP but it tanks like a mama (80% resists all round) and does some nice damage too.
The Sniper setup with T2 Medium Beams + long range crystals is a VERY surprising setup too.

Dont pve realy so...
Favourite frig has to be Jaguar,
1 x 200mm auto II, 2 x 150mm auto II, 1 x rocket II, MWD II, web, scram, Med extender II Damage mod II, nano, PDU II.
Reason being its damn fast, hits hard, tanks nicely and best of all is incredibly fun to fly.
Ishkur is also very nice.

The Jag with a cookie-cutted mid-extender-autocannons fit is probably my favorite, even if the Wolf is about 100 times hotter. ---------------------------- Remember, killing a Goon isn't murder. They don't have souls. |

ishkur ... can't really use guns or missiles.. so what you gonna do setup usually a couple 75mm rails, ab II, webber, cap recharger (my meds tend to change a lot, i do cosmos in it too so those mods are in often), bit of a tank
helios is pretty darn sexy too, because of the lack of dmg drones deal when compared to guns should I be in pvp expect to (not) see me in a helios
- All the stuff above does not necessarily reflect my corp, my alliance or even me - Pure drone user... give us a mini carrier and faction Typhoon and Dominix please |

Hound
Because it's some of the best fun I've ever had in a t2 ship.
Fitting would be...
1x Proto cloak, 2x Cruise (arby ftw) 2x Sensor Booster, 1x ECM - Multi or Dampener 3x BCU II ----

I dont want to be 'that' guy on the forum - butttttt, you can acutally fit a full rack of blasters so long as you use one of your lows for a MAPC. Let leaves 2 one for repper, and one for a small plate, 200mm fits - pretty sure.

That doesent fit. Funnily enough, my favourite t2 frig is the Ranis aswell.
Very versatile frig tbh, both for gang tackling and solo action. I allways keep a small armor rep on this one.
General purpose: 125mm rails w/ DCU and a small nos. Small Gangs : 125mm rails w/ MFS and a small nos. Solo: Ions w/ DCU and a small nos. Fleet action: Ions w/ DCU, tracking distruptor instead of web, and a small nos. ---

Edited by: Guillame Herschel on 12/10/2006 23:48:42 Ishkur at the moment, but Small Projectiles V will finish Saturday, then it's a week more for Minnie Frig V and the Jagabond, just in time for Halloween. I suspect that will become my new favorite T2 Frigate. What's not to like about zoom-zoom-zoom and rat-at-at-tat?

That ranis fit is tight but will with AWU 3 I think.
Crow - because it's really damn fun to bomb around at 4k/sec and be able to shoot further than any other inty. And harpy, because it's damn fun to snipe at 100km+ from a frigate.

Thanx for the heads up, i looked at that setup again and realized there was no SAR on it, wich i immagened there was. :D Sorry Orvas, your setup is fitting very well. However, i am worried about cap issues with neutrons, scram, web and mwd running... ---

Well I've flown a passive shield tanked Manticore with great success. That's a suprise for an inty you can bet. On my alt I fly a jaguar and that's an awesome ship.
But probably my fav is the retribution. For pve it's an evil beast that kills npc bs easily. And what it can do to other frigs is insane. If you fit it right your enemy will just be sitting there in his pod wondering how he got there.
And as for my fitting it's an old NBSI fitting passed around from pilot to pilot. If you weren't in NBSI I'm not tellin'

I <3 my Helios, it wins all the frig duels I've flown it in. (Hey, they've gotta find you before they pop you)
And its looking even sexier after the CPU boost coming in Kali 1. Now perhaps it can reliably tackle and jam a recently probed enemy until the cavalry arrives. It'd be a risk but I'd like to see more real action in mine. I'm looking forward to that!
