Hi everyone,
If you are a care-bear, PVE style toon, that prefers the more chilled, relaxed and 'warm' game-play styles of Eve then you couldn't do much better than look at Discoverings as your new home.
Discoverings is based in Empire and focusses on all positive PVE activities like Mission Running, Ratting, Exploration, Industry, Mining and Marketing.
We offer a relaxed and chilled Corp environment which is inclusive, open, genuine with no mandatory operations, calls-to-arms or other must do's. We simply need you to prefer playing the game in a responsible and positive way. In other words, no ganking, no griefing, no tear-jerking, no trolling, no abuse and so on.
We offer;
** Dedicated Teamspeak Server that keeps us all in touch both in and out of playing the game ** A rather high-tech website which is quite deeply integrated into the Eve API ** Some incredible plans for the future (come and speak to us about these!) ** Fleet Mining boosts, with fully skilled Mining Foreman, Wing Commander etc. ** Healthy competition through members leader boards for ratting, industry, mission running etc. ** We are absolutely family/profession/culture friendly
You should be;
- Chilled - Relaxed - Family Friendly
We have no skill points requirements and are also bitter-veteran friendly. Our main requirement is that you are looking for a more socially active side to the game that is building on a proven roadmap for the future.
If this sounds interesting please check out our website, convo me in game or ping me a game mail - I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about the Corp.

We've been busy - lots of updates to the website - even if we say so ourselves it must be one of the coolest Eve inspired Corporation Websites in the game. Check it out by clicking here.
We are now publishing Corp wide leaderboards of top ratters and top mission runners as a vehicle for healthy yet friendly competition for stakes as the top achieving toon. If you aren't at the top then you'll know who to ask to get a leg-up and see how they are doing and achieving things.
In more recent news - to make ourselves even more attractive to new members we have reduced the Corp Tax Rate to 0 percent.
Some, pop over, say hi in game, check out our website for all the information and then pop over into our Teamspeak at discoverings.net if you'd like to ask any questions or learn more about the Corp. |

A bunch of new Corp mates settled in over the weekend. It was great to watch the more experienced members running missions with some newer players helping them to level up in Missions more efficiently and quickly.
That's exactly the spirit behind Discoverings - please make sure to pop over and check out our website, it's for more descriptive of our DNA and approach than any forum post can be!
Swing by our teamspeak at discoverings.net if you have any questions. I'm on there most of the time to answer your questions.

Why is Discoverings a little different? I think it lies in the tight integration between the Corp and technology.
Our use of Teamspeak as a real-time comms channel not only nurtures the development of strong relationships that turn pixels on screens into people that become friends is one example.
The tight integration of CCP EVE API data and the Corp experience is a key one too. The Corp members enjoy unrivalled access to relevant and interesting information about each others activities. Don't get me wrong, we don't share information or context which could be used against anyone, for example, their net worth; but we do share information that encourages teamwork, learning, discovery and sharing of assets and capabilities.
A good example of this is the Corp publishes a registry of all blueprints owned across the Corp members. Not details of whether its a BPO or a BPC; or even the number owned; just details of which toon in Corp owns which blueprint. This has accelerated industrial teamplay to new levels. Corp mates not only lean on each other to build things they need instead of indiscriminately buying them off the open markets but we have a healthy intra-Corp market where we produce, manufacture and share. In other words; our industrial toons don't simply mine away in groups or individually then start building and manufacturing on their own; they do so with a 360 degree view of what they are trying to achieve; who can help; and what Blueprints or materials need to be sourced.
The extension of relevant technology in the Corp is sometimes subtle - like as I write this it looks like theres a fight going on in Couster as the most dangerous system in the game (by ship kills anyway), the guys in RO-AIQ are leading the way in Rats killed in the last hour (3,900) which is a small percentage at 1% of the 314,287 shot by us all across New Eden. Pod deaths appear to be high on the list of options if you are travelling in D61A-G or GE-8JV with Jita being pretty quiet..... these are just hints at the way the Corp has integrated the CCP API and Member Data into the members inventory of information on our site.
We know who is running missions in the Corp, not only in the last 24 hours, but who is doing well over the last week or even the last month. We know who is being particularly successful with their marketing/sales and we explore fits and techniques for high efficiency ratting because we have relevant information on who the top performing ratters are.....and much more.
Choosing a Corp in Eve is a really tough thing to do. There are so many of them. For me, the key is what facilities and functions has the Corp worked to provide that makes the game even more fun and immersive for me as a player.
That all said, we still play the 'positive' game with a mature and relaxed attitude with no doctrines, mandatory operations or thou shall ....
So, pop over, check out our website for a hint at the 'Art of the Possible' - click here

I've spoken to the CEO of this corp and he knows what he is doing. They are very much worth a look. Take a little time and have a look at their website. Wonderful tools for industry folks and many other features for members once your api is given. If you are looking for something beyond being just another player doing the same old thing everyday, you really need to have a close look at Discoverings Corporation.

Thanks for the strong vote of confidence in the Corp, much appreciated. Yes, I think we have a unique and refreshing approach to how we integrate our game-play with information and context from the EVE API stack that makes the game more fun and immersive for our members.
We've actually been growing pretty quickly - the more the merrier! |

The Corp is developing nicely - we've now got over 20 members and all are remarking at how incredible the API integration is on the back-end of the members section of the Corp Website. Whilst the technical integration side of the Corp is important I'm really enjoying the fact that the new members are settling in fast to the Corp and are enjoying each others company as they ply their individual and group interests in the game. They mine, they rat, they mission run and have been doing so all over Empire.
So, don't hesitate - pop over to Discoverings site and check us out. You can now use our in game Recruitment Channel too if you prefer at >> Discoverings Recruitment << to talk to us in game too.
So, do you prefer the positive and more relaxed sides of the game? Do you like working with others? Do you like to compare how you are doing to your peers? Do you like to chill in relative peace and tranquillity? If true then you should be sure to have a look at our Corp. |

Wow, almost 30 members strong. It's absolutely brilliant seeing the new members settle into the Corp so quickly. We are getting lots of brilliant feedback about the Corps Website and how it has been integrated into the CCP API's.
I had a Corp member complain to me today that he stayed up until 3am this morning running missions and ratting so he could get to the top of the 24 hour leader-boards, only to wake in dismay that he'd already been knocked into 4th place just a few hours later.
I challenge you to pop over to our Teamspeak or Recruitment channel at << Discoverings Recruitment >> and chat with us about the Corp. Given the huge number of Corporations in Eve finding the right Corp is a tough challenge - so make it easier and challenge prospective Corps about what they offer you beyond the standard set of simple in-game things. What does the Corp do for you to make the game even more immersive and fun? |

and in breaking news this morning......whist the data lags a little behind the current status its wonderful to see that Discoverings has made it into EveWho's top 10 fastest growing Corporations in Eve. That's a sure sign that toons approaching us to see what we do and how we do it are making clear decisions on their future, are joining us in the fun and steadily growing our ranks.
So, take the opportunity to come and chat with us on our Teamspeak. Even if I'm not around (as, yes, even I have to work for a living). Simply point your teamspeak at discoverings.net and join us in the lobby. Best time to catch us is between 19:00 and 23:00 Eve time.
If you'd rather engage in text first then reach out to us on our public channel >> Discoverings Recruitment << or contact me in game via convo or mail.
In any case I strongly suggest that you check our our website first - as even a casual glance at that will probably tell you everything you need to know about our professionalism, approach, lifestyle and transparency. Here's to hoping to speak to you soon! |

The Corp is still growing steadily with a rough 50/50 split of members across North America and Europe. Our teamspeak voice user propensity is really good; meaning there's always great conversations going on between the corp members as they ply their various career and trade aspirations in game.
So, be sure to check out Discoverings web site if you are looking for a new, relaxed and chilled home in Eve Online. Come and say "Hi" too in our public recruitment channel << Discoverings Recruitment >> if you want to as well. |

A little humbled today by several 'diplomatic' visits to the Corp from alliances and other Corps who are asking how we wrote and integrated our website. Awesome to see that it is getting such good reviews. Is sure is a significant factor in our being in the Top 10 fastest growing Corporations in the game right now (according to EveWho anyway!) |

Indeed, thanks Sragir. Yes, I've been specifically avoiding top-loading our recruitment activity for a few days because the Corp has been very busy over the last week or so.
Yes! We've left the hell-hole known as Empire and now rent our own 0.0 space. We've settled in nicely into our new home system and have established all the trappings of a wonderful laid back, no doctrines or mandates style of PVE game-play.
We have ready access to a regional trading hub only a few jumps away - we have station access to factories, repair, offices and have established our own PoS and all the other trappings of a progressive and happy Corp.
All of our members have made the move and after a day or two of settling in have jumped straight into the high-revenue and maximum PVE fun that it associated with life as a NullSec Renter Corp.
We've even upgraded our home system so we have more permanent ratting anomalies available and have additional upgrades to plant as we shape the space we live in to our own desires and wishes.
So yes, it's time to open our recruitment doors again and offer a wonderful home to chilled, relaxed PVE players that are keen to explore high efficiency ratting, industry, mining and enjoy the 0.0 lifestyle. Please do make sure you visit our website to see how well we've integrated the Corp fabric into the CCP API's so the Corp itself feeds off the heartbeat of the current Eve dynamic.
Yes, we offer a local buyback program for Ore, Ice, Minerals and Salvage Loot Yes, we have factories and research facilities available Yes, we have a ship assembly array for building Tech III Yes, we have compression arrays for high efficiency mining Yes, we have Rorqual boosted mining support Yes, we have our own Teamspeak server [No, its not a rented or shared one] Yes, we have a blueprint registry of all blueprints owned by all members so its easy to cherry pick stuff to build Yes, we have a ratters leaderboard for 24 hours, 1 week and 1 month standing Yes, we have a leaderboard for best Marketeers and Sales Toons in Corp Yes, we have clearly defined documentation and information for new members Yes, we have multiple options for Empire to 0.0 door to door Jump Freight Service for goods/products Yes, we have EU/USA/AusNZ Members Yes, we can access all stations within the Alliance Yes, we have 2 local regional trade hubs to buy stuff in Yes, we can use the markets, mine and rat in multiple systems Yes, we salvage Yes, we are family and real-life friendly Yes, we don't mind if you only get to fly at the weekends for an hour or two No, you won't be kicked from the Corp for not logging in for a month Yes, we'll be glad to see you when you do log in again Yes, we have Corp Forums where you can upload pics and files to share Yes, the Corp publishes its wallets in real-time so members can see everything transparently Yes, the Corp publishes real-time graphs of the ratting ticks, sites run by day, week and month Yes, the Corp has real-time graphs of the buyback program performance and cash availability for contracts Yes, the Corp has a members only area of the website so all our stuff and data is private to members Yes, the Corp has a real-time dashboard of anomalies available so you know which one to go and run Yes, it all seems a little cool! Yes, we do a lot
Yet, the Corp has no doctrines. We have no mandates. We have no Calls to Arms. No FC telling us what to do. Everything we do is because we want to do it, it makes sense to do it and we enjoy doing it.
We offer a carefully considered and balanced approach to 0.0 lifestyle that is rich, immersive, intelligent, fun and very rewarding!

We are well settled in to our shiny NullSec home with ready market hub access to a few jumps away, station access and all PoS etc all up and running. We have applied several military upgrades to the infrastructure hub giving Corp mates a permanent opportunity to run combat anoms.
We are now firmly established in our home, with a good set of neighbours around us and things are looking very good indeed.
If you are sick of CTA's and being told what to fly and when to fly then we'd offer you a really refreshing, laid-back and casual Eve lifestyle which is fun, socially active and bubbling with energy. Come and check us out! |

We are all excited again today; we just plugged in another 3 system upgrades into the Infrastructure Hub. There'll be a hoard of corp mates in the system to see what new goodies are exposed in the system following downtime.
This for me is one of the coolest features of living in Sov NullSec - the ability to shape the space to absolutely meet the needs of the corporation living there (accepting of course mechanical deviations caused by system security index etc) |

We have continued the dogged upgrading of the home system; now upgraded for entrapment (escalations), Ore, Ratting (Pirate Detection) and Relic and Data sites.
Everyone's having a huge blast running the sites, doing some exploration, then a bit of mining. Great to see everyone chilling and taking it easy in a piece of space that we have shaped, built up and moulded to our own needs.
Its the game equivalent of being given a parcel of land, then stripping it, ploughing it and planting crops. The great thing is we are in the harvesting phase and everyones making lots of iskies having fun being Eve farmers in industry and rattings.

The Corp is continuing to offer a great home to PVE players who particularly enjoy ratting in NullSec or who vibrant careers in mining and industry. We are growing steadily and all new members comment frequently on the awesome backend integrations and web features that bring the Corp alive for them; even when not in the game. The WhatsApp Messenger is a cool toy too that helps Corpies stay in touch when they are on the road, at work or otherwise unable to log in to the game.

Even though we are fast approaching 80 members in Corp broadly equally split across Western Europe and USA timezones we have far more facilities, anoms and industrial capacity available than we can effectively farm. We continue to look for chilled, relaxed toons to team up with us.
You'll appreciate the lack of doctrines, no CTA's, mature and relaxed game style plus our investment in really cool technology and integrations on the website that really bring the Corp alive; whether you are in game or trying to keep up with what's happening from the 'cube' in the office.
We strongly recommend you check out our website at its homepage here and then come and chat to us on teamspeak to learn more about us and how we enjoy Eve. |

I'm delighted to report that Discoverings has stayed in the great north with The Imperium and is flying with the Space Monkey's Alliance. We are all absolutely thrilled to be part of these big events in the game; albeit in our own little way.
Discoverings is continuing to grow. Moving to one of the big alliances, itself nestled within the super alliance of the Imperium increases our momentum and the opportunities our members have to not just survive in the game; but to thrive within it.
We now have huge tracts of 0.0 open to us; where we travel freely; where we have solid home defense and can play the game still the way we like; when we like surrounded now by many thousand friends in that lovely deep shade of blue.
Whilst we are still settling in to our new home region in the map we are still actively recruiting and doing what we can to make it possible to share in our journey; and our game.
Pop over to our teamspeak at discoverings.net (no password required) if you'd like to learn more or hit us up on our recruitment chat channel at >> Discoverings Recruitment << for more details. We'll try and answer any questions that you may have..... if we can! |

Well, it has been a good couple of weeks since we moved over to our new home nestled in with the Space Monkeys Alliance and The Imperium.
Whilst a rather different style of game play than the one we enjoyed as independent NullSec renters we have been made to feel very much at home in the new space we call home.
With the coming changes in the game induced by FozzieSov there's still a lot of things to clarify; not just for Discoverings; but for all of us that have spent much time living out in Sovereign NullSec. Whatever we knew or did in the past is largely irrelevant.
Discoverings is well positioned to embrace the impending changes and is already working alongside other Corps in the Alliance on digging in to make our home a solid fortress for the long term.
We are therefore opening our doors again to recruitment. The many of you that applied to join in at Discoverings will have been sorely disappointed for sure by our closed doors but there was no way we could actively support new member on boarding during a big process of moving from one side of the game map to the other. It would simply not have been fair or appropriate.
So, if you are keen on embracing life as a sovereign nullsec player and want to take part in one of the biggest changes in the game for many years then you can't go too wrong by knocking on our door and finding out what its like. You can reach us through out website as usual at Discoverings or in << Discoverings Recruitment >> channel in game.
