Um.. yeah to be honest if you're flying one you should know exactly how to fit it for what situations.. otherwise fly brutixes for a long, long time.

3 X Neutron II w/ Null & all 3 armored warfare mods
MED :
1 X Webber, 1 X Warp Disruptor, 1 X Medium Cap Booster w/800 charges, 1 x MWD, 1 X Sensor Booster II
LOW :
1 X Enegized Adaptive Nano II, 1 X Armour Explosive Hardener II, 1 X Damage Control, 1 X Tracking Enhancer II and 1 X Medium Armour Rep.
DRONE BAY : Whatever you want, but I have 20 Infiltrator II in at the moment.
This setup is used mainly for gate camps and small gangs. It works quite well, the null ammo is great getting on killmails, plus your drones will do great damage.

This thread wins life. Not because the uberleet setup posted was amazingly funny (it really wasn't to be quite honest). What is funny is the people (yes, you Pottsey) taking it seriously Oh, and the rage torp testimonial

Actually, it's not funny because there actually are people who are stupid enough that that post might've been serious. I guess opinions on what is comedy and what is not can be said to differe quite a bit, but to me the post is just tragedy regardless of whether it was a joke or serious - perhaps a bit more just because it was a joke and therefore can not be helped see the light of reason.

Gotta agree with Ithildin, don`t u have anything better to do like maybe give out a decent setup for it instead.
Eos can be a fearsome Solo ship. We had 3-4 ceptors and a Vagabond vs an Eos, we ended up going home in 4 pods and a Raptor in deep structure
That Eos just completely ripped us apart.
A good setup for it would be to treat it like a Brutix with better resists and bigger dronebay. Can`t fly it, but once i get around to work on a setup i`ll post.
This is my lazy attempt to make an uber-signature, please go away!

Edited by: Pottsey on 14/10/2006 16:12:03 ôWhat is funny is the people (yes, you Pottsey) taking it seriously ö You wouldnÆt believe the amount of people like that who are not joking but really do fly ships like that. I have meant many people in game who really think flux modules are good and who mix amour and shield modules. It makes for a good kill mail read. Even came across setups with basic modules fitted instread of T1.
When I have met lots of setups like that for real can you blame me for taking it seriously? How do you know he was joking? I am 50 thinking he was serious and 50 thinking joking. But cannot be sure either way.
Saying that I did find Guurzak comment pretty funny.

the setups here clearly demonstrates that u need to go back to brutix school, and remember if u wanna go up close and actually hurt someone, use the astarte that was built for that purpose, if u go in the eos focus on tank and drones, and do not fit t1 guns on this ship christ...

A tortoise has no business flying a CBC. If the tortoise doesn't buy his character on ebay, then he'll recognize that as a joke setup long before he has the character skills to fly one.

this is by far one of the worst setups i have ever seen.
I would suggest a passive tank in the lows. 2x energized reactive platings 1x energized adaptive nano membrane 1x medium armor rep 1x 800 or 1600mm plate
in mids prolly:
10MN MWD medium electrochemical booster w/800s 3 slots for EW (scrams, webbers, damps, ECM, sensor boosters, whatever)
then in the highs, a rack of guns or nos and a gang mod or 2.
oh yeh, all the heavy drones you can fit.

Ok, i get the point on t2 MAR or even officier mod, but whats on the rest?
Mainly used for small gang in 0.0..drones?
tnx
Here's a quick one I came up with.
Eos
Heavy Ion Blaster II x7
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Fleeting Progressive Warp Scrambler I Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I Balmer Series Targeting Inhibitor I
Medium Armor Repairer II x2 Armor Explosive Hardener II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II x2
3600 shield, 11.25/s, E/T/K/Ex=0/60/85/60 4218 armor, E/T/K/Ex=73/79/89/73
Drones to suit, I'd mix it up with Heavy ECM, Heavies and Meds.
Nate

Lower cap usage on the weapons. Very important when running the shield booster.
You don't get the ship bounses with this setup.. Change the guns to daul t2 150mm rails.. Also the 3 1600mm plates??? Remove 2 of them and add a t2 med. armor repair. and toss on a t2 explosive hardner.
